I have a miserable experience in the resort, the first night at 1:50am i was trying to look for a hot shower to relief from this hellishly hot weather yet i realized that the heater is out of order i tried to ask for the staff ( who doesn't really english! ) for help, and after explaining for a long... more

This was our first stay at ibrick hotel in the City. Bangkok is a familiar city to us, and we felt generally the stay was delightful with some slight misigivings. We stayed for three nights in the ground floor emerald room. What was great: -huge bedroom and bathroom -wooden bathtub with rain shower was delightful -decent enough breakfast menu which... more

A very small hotel with only 3 guestrooms, in a small garden , 5 min. from the Surasak BTS (skytrain) station, but enough hidden to be away from the terrible noise of Sathorn road. What can you ask more if you want to escape somewhere where you can feel like in your small private house, opening the door into a... more

I loved Ibrik immediately---it is located near one of the BTR stations and is a hidden gem. We were greeted with beautiful wooden doors that open to a quiet garden breezeway. I booked the Emerald room which has an amazing wooden bath tub and semi-private garden patio. The rooms are furnished in the old Thai plantation style with dark wooden... more

A totally unexpected venue in the heart of Bangkok, which would be almost impossible to find without detailed instructions. Enclosed within four tall walls is this otherwise invisible guest house with just three rooms and every amenity you could reasonably require. We paid a little over $100 for a night here and wished we'd had more time. The peace and... more

Found Ibrik City on the net after trying to book Ibrik River. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it so much we didn't want to go out. Peaceful, comfortable, unusual. Charming quiet and shy staff. Really pleasant bathroom, large bedroom, good coffee for breakfast. Sth Sathon is noisy and grimy but Ibrik filters it out. Surasak BTS is 50 metres... more

Spent our last 2 nights in the Emerald room in City Ibrik - agree with other reviewers it is very difficult to find as most taxi drivers think you are going to an hotel - not a tiny guest house - thankfully our mobile phone worked and we asked the driver to speak directly to staff - a signpost at... more

Ibrik City charms with its simplicity. It has only three rooms in a quaint terrace house off Sathorn Road. The ambience is relaxed and cosy, a nice place to escape the maddening crowd. Its location is quite convenient with the Surasak BTS station less than five minutes stroll away. But getting there from the airport can be stressful. The taxi... more

We stayed in this little gem and found the location perfect. Our room was the Ruby room. Charming, beautifully decorated and hands down the best coffee of the whole trip. We travelled to Cambodia and Hong Kong, stayed at much more expensive and grand hotels, the coffee at Ibrik is delicious., the staff warm and friendly. The perfect location it's... more

We found this place through chickretreats.com and stayed three nights. The location was quite convenient with the nearby station and it was very easy to access interesting places. Also the neighbouring Blue Elephant restaurant is worthwile a visit! The hotel only consists of three rooms and feels very peaceful. Our room was very beautiful and rather spacious. Some of the... more
