Its an ordinary looking hotel that needs sprucing up badly... The lift hasnt been working a while now but is under repairs.. I gave it an extra star for the courtesy of the staff at their 24 hr restaurant along with a vast menu and good food at extremely pocket friendly prices... Worth every baht spent...

Firstly this is NOT a 5 star hotel - but I love it. You have a great chocie of rooms from very cheap basic to full suites. Something for everyone. Great sun area and pool as well as a 24 hour coffee shop/cafe. Food available all the time and not expensive. There are local restaurants in walking distance and a... More

I stayed at the Malaysia Hotel for two nights during my last trip to Bangkok. I have already booked a dorm bed in a hostel before I came to know about Malaysia Hotel from a chatter. When I browsed the internet to check the facilities and room rates I was impressed to see it has an outdoor pool. Although the... More

I've known The Mayalsia Hotel for twenty-five years. It's gone a bit down-hill since I first went there, but for the price it's still good value for money. Cheapest room (two single beds) was 950 Baht in May/June 2015. Quite close to Lumphini underground station - less than ten minutes to walk. My only grumble is the English breakfast provided... More

Went there last evening 24/05/15 for an hour oil massage and discovered that my money was gone when I was going to pay! The thief kindly left 300 baht stealing 2000 over baht, obviously a set up among the masserus! Who all acted innocent obviously. Do not go there for massage unless you want to have your money stolen!!!

Very happy with the hotel. Room is clean, comfortable and spacious. Good location, only about Bath 50 to get to Silom and Siam Paragon on taxis (meter). There's a forex and 7 Eleven right in front of the hotel should you need anything. A few good and cheap massage centers 5 minutes walk away. If you feel adventurous, you can... More

this is a gay oriented hotel, if u can tolerate the boys, go somewhere like a 5 stars hotel if u can afford instead of complaining abt dirty rooms and boys. This hotel is reputated for what they ate from 70's till now. DUn expect the management to change for ur sake and that miserable money you pay, lol...

I have stayed at this place many times over the years. Thew main building is old and faded but cheap, the house behind has fancier rooms that are newer and the separate building has really fancy rooms. All buildings have access to the pool which in Bangkok is a must for me. If you can cope with a basic and... More
