The rooms are very simple but clean. super convenience as only 5 minutes away from the city centre by taxi. the best thing about this hotel is that they do have a 24 hrs restaurant / room service which is very very rare in a 2 stars hotel. The only set back is that they do not have safe deposit... more

The nicest thing about the hotel was the friendly staff. I feel they realy look out for you. Several times when I came off the elevator I was stopped by the front desk for no reason other than to say hello. They've done a good job in keeping up with the remodeling as well. The maid staff was also quite... more

this is a good hotel at a very practical price in a good location. stayed for 3 nights- the staff are all helpful and accommodating- from reception to maids and food servers. the massage center is also very good - the pool is a bit small though but for the price and cleanliness- its highly recommended more

There's no decoration, beautiful lights nor beautiful sights. But what I am truely satisfied is the room rate that fits for a budget traveller. All the basics ~ small fridge, tv, heater, bed, table, chair.... all in good condition. The hotel provide water in a glass bottle. It taste a little different but still drinkable. There's a massage centre attached... more

I first stayed at the Malaysia in the late 1980s. Back then, it was a freewheeling sort of place, full of interesting characters from all over the world. After a twenty year break, I was pleasantly surprised to find that very little had changed. OK, so it isn't the most glamorous place to stay in Bangkok, but for the price... more

A Reluctant Review: I don't like alerting folk to one of my favorite and usually overbooked hotels in BKK. A bathtub, TV, bar fridge, and convenient location, excellent and friendly service, plus a swimming pool and 24 hour coffee shop, all for 800 baht a night or thereabouts. Excellent eateries nearby also, and a 7/11 over the road. Um, rooms... more

Despite having made a reservation months in advance, reconfirming more than once (including on the morning of our arrival date!), we were informed upon arrival that there were no rooms available. We were left high and dry in Bangkok on a Saturday night with no place to stay. If you make a reservation at this place, you may be screwed... more

Stayed again at this place and it is still a good value for the money. Underground is about 10 minutes walking distance, parking is for free and pool is relaxing. Breakfast is not included but many restaurants in the area make food hunting convenient. Rooms are still clean but a bit run downed. Reservation by phone was working well and... more

This has to be the best value hotel in Bangkok if you want to be in the general area of Silom/Sathorn/Suriwongse. Large rooms with a double and single bed, small but functional bathroom, Satellite TV, Refrigerator, swimming pool, internet and 24 hour restaurant/bar, all for Baht 700. Bookings must be made 1-2 months in advance as it is always 100%... more
