The Old Bangkok Inn's rooms and lobby are beautiful. (We stayed in one of the Rice rooms.) One thing to point out is that the bathroom has a curtain instead of a door, and a portion of the bathroom wall is constructed out of semi-transparent glass blocks. The Old Bangkok is located on a quiet street in the old section of Bangkok, near the Democracy Monument and walking distance (a long walk) to the Grand Palace. Really well located with a very helpful and friendly host, and beautiful rooms. It's a historic small hotel so very unique and a bit of a haven amidst the bustle of Bangkok. Also making good attempts to be eco-freindly too which is a bonus. We had an excellent stay here. more
