The second night we need to change to superior room that on another side the room is bigger but charge more 400 baht/night... More

right at the start of soi 9 is the doorway to city lodge, its easy to miss but it is worth looking at. reasonably priced and in a great location, easy walking distance to the train and all the attractions of Sukhumvit, the beds are comfy and the air con is cold. this would be a good choice for anybody... I regularly stay at this hotel because of location convenience-just connected to Nana sky train and other shopping centers. They have converted previous restaurant into pool bar and therefore front facing rooms are very noisy and have difficulty to have sound slip. I also experienced this time deteriorating staff hospitality, kindness and Thainess of dealing. The staff development and motivation... More

The location is good as it is next to Nana BTS station and plenty of restaurants. I have stayed here twice recently one time I had a room right next the BTS station platform which was noisy because of the road and passing trains. The other time I had a room away from the BTS and I didn't notice too... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your review. We were happy to read that you enjoyed our practical location in front of BTS Nana station. For information if you reserve a superior room, this category is located on the quieter side, not overlooking Sukhumvit and the BTS. Also, guests staying at City Lodge have complimentary access to the swimming-pool and fitness... More

The facility is rather old but nicely kept. The location is it's best feature. It's right next to the train station. So it you're looking for a nice clean place to crash after a long day in Bangkok; this is a decent choice. There's a lot of good food stops and bars in the immediate area also. If you are... More

Is a rather small and old hotel but it's locate just steps away from nana station. Convenient for us as we travel most of the time with BTS. We even allow to use the gym facility at Amari boulevard which was around the area as city lodge is under the same management group as them. The room size was decent,... More

Conveniently located next to Nana BTS station, but beware of rooms facing Sukhumvit Road as they have full length windows that face and are almost touching distance of the BTS station platform. No privacy at all and the curtains have to be closed permanently unless you enjoy all and sundry looking at you lying in bed. Even on the 5th... More

I've stayed here before because of the closeness to the SkyTrain Nana. There is a great area for bars and restaurants, and of course, the street vendors. The hotel was clean. We stayed on the 5th floor facing the skytrain. Maybe you might want to be higher and facing away. But, all in all, a great 2 nights.

Although rather old hotel, the bed and cleanliness is OK. Just steps from BTS Nana skytrain station, it is convenient for night life traveler in Bangkok. The facility is fair. HBO and Cinemax are provided. I can use swimming pool and fitness at near Amari Boulevard hotel. Breakfast set is served at the adjacent bar.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
