If I stay in Bangkok, then Silom is my favorite area. And now I found a additional homely place to stay there.Located on busy Surawong Road, surrounded from lots of Restaurants, tasty streetfood places, markets and many good Massage Salons. The MRT Silom and BTS Saladaendg is just few steps away.I stayed in a Executive room with City view to... More

Just completed a 3 day stay at this hotel. Despite mixed reviews we found it very comfortable with all necessary amenities. Comfortable bed, good shower room, effective air-conditioning and a generous sized rooms. The breakfast has a good choice, fresh made omelettes with crispy bacon a welcome start, and fruit selection. The roof pool and bar is compact, only 10... More

Stayed here for 2 nights as a stopping point before heading off to Rayong. It's a great place to stay. The staff are very polite and helpful. The hotel is in a great spot within walking distance of lots of bars, restaurants, street markets and the Sky Bar. If you want to get the best of the views possible you... More

1. the location: the skyline and the metro are very close, so acces to public transport is very good. there is also a night market very close. but...there are lots of hookers in this neighbourhood. 2. Rudest bellboy ever. When we arrived he told us how much he wanted to receive for a tip...like seriously? and when we left he... More

The hotel seriously need an upgrade. Very good location however the room quality did not meet my expectation. Wifi is chargeable, I would advise you to get a prepaid sim card with a week data pass or depending on no of day you visit. Many good food and restaurants nearby the hotel.

I actually stayed here just over a year ago, however I couldn't see the date option. The Siam Heritage is a nice little authenic hotel tucked away on one of Bangkoks busy streets. Our taxi driver pulled into the front of the hotel and before we even had chance to get out of the car, there where staff taking out... More

Charming helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast. Nice that it's a little different Dom your standard hotel. Rooms are big enough, everything works. Quiet considering you are close to all the nightlife. 5 minute walk from sky train.

Another lovely stay at Siam Heritage, nothing bad to report staying here, its is a very well located hotel and has everything a city traveller needs. As is customary in any hotel, the more you pay, the more you get. A suit will give you more space but the standard rooms are not what you would call small. Old style Thai... More

A good and convenient location. Only a few steps from silom . The rooms are ok . My room was very dark with hardly any day light and I had view to a wall. The bed was good and the room was very clean . The staff at the reception at the 1st floor was friendly and helpful . Their... More

I stayed at Siam Heritage first time back in 2008 and always return when I'm traveling alone to Bangkok. For me it has become a home away from home. It is a cozy boutique hotel in the heart of all the fun of Bangkok. The staff is always super friendly and smily. The rooms are big and have everything you... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
