If you want cheap in every sense, this is the hotel to go. Stayed there two nights in transit to another country. Very basic amenities. The room had refrigerator, phone, cable TV, safe & slow internet. The breakfast is also very basic so make sure you have brunch. The staff at their canteen (can't say its a restaurant) do not... Upgrading the name to "hotel" doesn't improve the smoky rooms, never-ending construction sites, bad service and rude staff. Called the police on them for skimming 500 baht off our change when we paid a thousand baht bill to pay for a 350 baht meal. It's the cheapest in town and near the underground train but it's never worth the aggravation.

we stayed the night before heading off to Chiang Mai so we looked at cheap options thatll do the job. Still, you expect a little standard, I'd say. We were glsd we were there for one night. the pros are is in an ok location, the underground is a ten min walk and is easy to use. We spotted a... More

The Watana Mansion is relatively well located. If you use the subway it's not far to walk to the station. If you use a taxi, make sure you get the meter on and don't negotiate prices. Not many entertaining places around the hotel. The room was clean. There was a nice little restaurant and store and a night market nearby.... More

This was my 20 something visit to Thailand; mainly for a holiday and catching up with my Thai family. This was the 2nd time I visited and stayed at this hotel. We stayed on the 12th floor (Room 1210) which faced the North and a construction site. Although the construction site was noisy in the mornings; it was a good... More

If it was not 9.30 at night and if it was up to me, I would have turned and run at our first impression of Watana Mansion. After checking in and getting our keycards, we went up to the 10th floor where our rooms were. Turning the corner from the elevator, we were confronted with a pile of dirty dishes... More

I stay in Watana hotel just for one night before going back home, I paid 700bath for a standard double room without breakfast The room seemed fine when we first came in, quite spacious, good size TV, aircon, sofa, small balcony and bathroom (a little small) but after a while we had the visit of a few cockroaches in the... Pro: Low Rate Cons: Far from MRT. A long walk. Quite scary esp after 7pm as it is quiet and dark. Noisy: even up to 3am from traffics. Hotel guests are noisy too. Poor breakfast: Just a miserable set each day. Poor pool: Pool is dirty. Dirty toilet. If cost is yr concern, you may choose Tunes at Asoke. So... More

Currently staying here and it was the biggest mistake of my life booking for 24 days. I am currently trying to get the booking agent Agoda to refund my remaining nights so I can leave, if not I will just leave on my own. I have never been more upset with a hotel as I am with this one. The... More
