I stayed one night at Wendy House as I was transiting from Bangkok to Phuket. It's close to the National Stadium Station on the BTS. Breakfast and free wifi are always good. I had originally booked a single room, but was upgraded to a double. However, the double room was on the fifth floor, and the stairs are quite steep.... More

Wendy House staff were very helpful, friendly and made my coming and going from Bangkok a pleasure. The room was basic but clean, quiet and with blessed AC. Great service (they helped with taxis and wake up calls and more) and good breakfast - a nice bonus. And the location turned out to be perfect for a first time visitor.... More

If you are looking for a posh boutique hotel or even western hotel experience, look elsewhere. If you are looking for simple clean guesthouse accomodations in an excellent location in short walking distance to MBK and skytrain then you have the right place. Some might balk at paying almost paying $30 a night for a guesthouse but its literally downtown.... More

We recently spent two nights in Wendy House and were pleased with the location (steps away from the National Stadium BTS station), the nice breakfast included, and the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are very small but well appointed with mini fridge and electric kettle. While very friendly, the staff were not particularly helpful in either being able to... More

Wendy House is a small hotel, not really a guesthouse : friendly, inexpensive, clean, efficient and best if all location, a short stroll to National Stadium. I have stayed a few times and will return. Ideal for singles, not big rooms but very functional without being clinical, its homely. No left, but stairs are good for the heart and legs.

Our booking was made by emailing them directly. No credit card info was told, with only name and contact info, they did reserve the rooms for us!! When we arrived, their staff welcomed us with a lovely smile and showed us how to use their facilities.Their rooms were well-equipped, and the shower was hot. Two bottle of water was provided... After living in Bangkok for 7 months, this is with no doubt the best place to stay! I always feels so home here and I have been here so many times and keep coming back for: the friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms, and BEST location in Bangkok. Skip Khao San Road and stay at Soi Kasem San 1 instead... More

Via Trip Advisor recommendations I booked a single night accommodation at the Wendy House for a layover and then another 3 nights before departing Thailand. All bookings were done on-line via the Wendy House email address and all communications were timely. Following the advice and instructions on the Wendy House website, I took the train from the Bangkok Airport and... More

traveled solo and had a wonderful time at this place! the location is perfect, especially for someone travelling to bangkok for the first time. it's only 5 minutes away (on foot) from the national stadium station and 10-15 minutes walking distance from big shopping malls like mbk and siam paragon. the jim thompson house and museum is also very close... When I moved from the 5 star suite in Diamond Plaza, Bangkok, to Wendy house in the same city I felt some doubts about my decision of changing hotel because my room in Wendy house was really small. Yet soon I noticed that everything I needed was there and also clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the included... More
