The rooms are good, clean, have a safe, 2 benches for things and bedside table. Rooms are cleaned only on request, paid Wi-Fi. The hotel has a luggage storage. I left for six weeks. Small swimming pool.. Staff friendly.

We were sent here by some friends who liked it, and they were bang on. It was a perfect location to start our SE Asia trip in, set near a quiet road like a mini, cooler, more relaxed Koh San. Close to the actual Koh San. Pool is kinda dirty but really nice to have. Staff are very polite, not... More

Always stay here in Bangkok, location is good right across the road from ferry, walking distance to grand palace if you are reasonable fit. Rooms are clean, get an air con room. The hotel has a pool for cooling off in, also has very good fruit shakes

We have stayed at this hotel about 4 times now. Basically you pay for what you get. Rooms are small but have air con and fan you can choose to have a room with just a fan at a cheaper rate The bathrooms are very tiny but ok for short stays. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and a... More

We stayed just 1 night. It's convenient for the Palace and there are plenty of eateries and small market areas around which is good. Accommodation is so so. We stayed in the new part of the building which was clean and basic. Whole place had a slightly run down feel about it and the staff seemed to offer the bare... More

We travel to Asia a few times every year - and we always use New Siam Guesthouse II, because it is very nice staf and there is this little swimingpool where the kids love to play. It is also placed in our favorit area of Bangkok :-)

Pros: nice pool and restaurant, spacious room, good bed, cable TV, great location for khao san road. Cons: bathroom could be a bit bigger, we found 3 roaches in our room (tiny ones, but still), aircon control didn't work - we were stuck at 22° the whole time, and the worst one: they charge for WiFi. 5 months in Asia... Part of the well-established New Siam Group of several guesthouses in Banglampu. This is one is relatively new and has a small pool. Price is reasonable. The restaurant is slow and the food only average at best. Good location near to restaurants and pubs on popular Phra Athit Road, walking distance from Khao San Road. Tip: the food across the...
