Good place to stay in Bangkok. Cheap, very clean, quiet, well situated,... Only one thing, maybe...... : too much french people,............. Easy to moove from it : near the boat, and some bus stops.

I had always stayed in "Back Packers Lodge Guest House" on the same little soi as Tavee. The old one had gone but lucky for me because next door at Tavee the people are sooo much nicer. Honestly Jane and her family fall over themselves trying to accommodate guests. I work in a tourist resort so i'm quite surprised that... More

I was here about a year ago and felt at home in this tucked away, clean guest house. They have a great spirit house in the front, an adorable shitzu with a better hairstyle than me and make some amazing banana fritters you'll want to eat everyday. The rooms themselves are small but clean, comfy and cute. And best of... More

Favorite place in Bangkok! The staff is extra nice and the location is really beautiful. It is very clear. It is not close to the BTS, but have the ferry 10 minutes walk and the staff helps you with the bus. One thing you should know before coming here: It a very calm place, if you seek party rather kind... More

This guest house meets all my criteria. It is owned by a family, it is small, it is quiet, it is easy reachable by taxi, bus or boat, it is not expensive (450thb to 750 thb) and they have wifi! Plus it is 20min walk from Kao San road if you want some entertainment or fix a meeting point with... More

I spent three nights last month. The room was spacious and pretty. The walls seemed to be a bit thin, though. The women at the receptionist were not always very friendly, however. Nice neighborhood. Recommended.

My wife and I always stay at Tavee, because they take great care of us. It is clean and friendly staff. The owners are very nice people. I would highly recommend. They also have in house restaurant, the food is good and made fresh.

We loved Tavee Guesthouse from the moment we found its little alleyway. It is a perfect 20 minute walk from the super touristy areas - very convenient to get to places like the Grand Palace, but away from the noise of Khao San Road. There are a few very friendly staff, and a few less-warm staff (but we thought maybe... More

Clean rooms with nice decor, either fan without toilet (350/500bht) or air con with toilet (750bht). Shared toilets are meticulously cleaned and have hot shower if you like. Close to Chao Praya river ferrry stop Thewes pier (N15). There a lot of better value places in Bangkok but many are in or close to Khao San road and have a... More
