the place is clean, the bedroom is simple but OK. it is near the chao praya boat very useful to go to the main attractions in Bangkok. you need to know that the walls are very thin so you hear everything around. After all the nice reviews we have read before our stay we have been disappointed by the owner.... More

The Guesthouse is located in a quiet narrow alley. If you are looking to stay away from the business and the crowd of Khao san road this place will be a really good option. It is also situated near a Pier where you can catch a ferry to get to the main area of the city very easily for only... More

Nice rooms, nice and clean amenities, friendly staff. Peaceful, yet close to the Khao San madness. 7/11, water taxi, various restaurants. Delicious food on site (albeit slightly pricey). Highly recommended!

I stayed here for 2 weeks and loved it. The Staff are friendly and helpful and always willing to assist. There are plenty of bathrooms available and I enjoyed the food served. Within walking distance of a 7 eleven , thai massage, restaurant and food vendors. A 15-20 minute walk to Kaosan Road and the water taxi/tourist boat ferry.

It's a nice place to stay. The bathrooms are clean, the rooms are clean, the wifi is free. The staff however is rather disrespectful and quick to accuse. It's a fine place. Great if you're looking for a quiet place to crash.

Perfect for staying when you arrive in BKK. Rooms are clean and for a good price. Nice outside showers. Good if you want a place to come back from the busy city. Location is good: easy to catch a cab and also close to the thewet water-taxi.

Really cute place with a friendly staff. Rooms are clean and simple, really not expensive and well situated. We spend 2 nights there and it was perfect. We really enjoy our time there. If you are in Bangkok you should try this guesthouse.

Don't hesitate, it's very nice, kind and very comfortabel. Top when you want to be quiet after landing. The room is very clean. The bed is comf and good for your back. The people are kind, the food is good. Just exit the airport, take the express line train (at level -1) stop at the end of the line and... More

Nice familiar place to visit, when travelling with a bag on your shoulders. Try to catch a room on the first floor, because of the noise, when other people are leaving (wooden floor). The location and pricing is great. Also the rooms are clean and you got ac for the hot months.

I travel to Bangkok quite often and always stays at Tavee Guest-house. Dozens of times since 1995 and always happy to be there. Clean rooms, friendly people, good food and convenient location far the rat race. I will certainly go there again next time...

Staying in Dusit

Neighborhood Profile
Dusit
When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city. The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and the serenity here is in stark contrast with the chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit seems to have stood the test of time. Come here to find family businesses in traditional shophouses, small-scale local markets and streets unfazed by modern city life.
