This place is not much to look at and you may be the only westerner in here but damnnn is it good food!! Tired of Thai food I came here and enjoyed ever bite!! I had the mixed veggie curry and rice and veggie samosas - all for 230 baht. Just delicious. No alcohol served but that doesn't matter at... More

is a very reasonably priced place where you can get decent Indian food to eat, like in India if you don`t visit the posh places. It is also in a good location, in walking distance from Saphan Taksin & China-Town, Ratchawongse Pier etc. Enjoy you food and the authentic plastic-but-clean Indian regular restaurant feeling.

It's an okay place, the people at the reception speak a good amount of English, which is very helpful. It is an okay place to get some shut eye if you are going to leave Bangkok the next day to some other location. Clean enough, hot water in the mornings. They don't have free wi-fi. It is a bit away... More

The hotel is Good. The staffs were friendly. The rooms were not up to the standards and the beds are all very close by to the other. You can find good Indian food we liked that a lot. Location is near to major malls and stuffs for shopping. Anyways it's cheap than the most of the hotel you find in... More

The staff were very helpful, the cable tv worked well and the shower was the best that I had for my entire trip. Breakfast was ok. But there was no wifi at all anywhere! All the rooms are smoking, so probably best to avoid if you're a non-smoker. Also, although the bed was comfortable, it was very short: I'm small... More

Price is the lowest among all south Indian restaurants. The food quality is also good. They give dum mutton biriyani on fridays which is the best food I had with them. You can get authentic tamil food like dosai, uthappam, pongal, idiyappam etc. The taste is like perfect home made tamil nadu food. This is run by muslims and the... More

Nice place though on the outside seemed to be bit rugged the restaurant serves good southindian food. The meal set is a good combination. Liked the taste of the food. The place is close to the postoffice.

From where should I start????? A complete nightmare!!!! Not clean at all, staff not friendly, and sometimes very rude! The breakfast tasted like s***! (I'm not kidding) The room is not clean, and had many bugs, including cockroaches!!! The shower was cold, the wifi worked in the first 5 minutes. The highlight of our nightmare stay was spotting the cleaner... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
