Stayed 2 nights here on a Bangkok shopping stopover. Great location close to Rail and walking distance to Silom shopping, Restaurants and patpong market. Rooms are lovely and big but bathrooms need a huge makeover they are dark dingy and moldy. Staff at Reception quite friendly but food and beverage staff safe rude and not interested. Overall a decent place... More

Hotel just right the corner at Silom area as you can find a good food on the street during morning.... But I first time stay at this hotel for 7 days and didn't know that was so good about the nightshift staff and even the shower was cold and hot all the time. During the cleaning lady clean your room... More

We stayed 8 nights at the Silom Serene in May, 2014 and were very satisfied. The breakfast was good, the position was very good, it had a pool and gym, it had free wifi, the staff helped twice with phone calls for shows. Some reviews have said that it is dated. Maybe it was the 1960's bathroom tiles - so... More

Stayed here for Songkran. The staff are very friendly although the night staff feels like the police in scrutinizing the people who go in. They are very helpful in helping book restaurants and activities in Bangkok. The rooms are just ok, outdated. I dont like that they put us in a smoking floor thought. The room wifi sucks, so slow.... The hotel is a bit dated, but the location and value are great. The staff is helpful and the room is a decent size. There are some issues with dank bathrooms and dated appointments. The markets and mass transit are very close and the hotel is one I would use again.

I have been to Silom Serene a few times and very much like the location and the friendly staff. It is in a small street just off Silom Road, so it is rather quiet but after a minute´s walk, you find yourself in the hustle and bustle of Silom Road. Getting anywhere in Bangkok is easy. Staff is always nice.... More

Arrived after flight from the UK...nice pleasant staff. Check in smooth and efficient. Seems an old building, however the rooms are perfect, clean and does what it says on the tin. Free wifi, however you only get a password for one device, im sure you could get another if you asked. Patpong nightlife just around the corner. Pool area looked... More

Just stayed there - again. The hotel gives good value-for-money. I was worried about staying there in view of the current unrest in Bangkok. I hardly noticed anything, but I may have been lucky. Traffic even seemed lighter that usual? Room, staff, service in the Serene are all very good. Maybe the rooms are getting a bit 'worn' and in... More

Have been coming to Silom Serene for many years now, and I keep finding myself coming back here as my hotel of choice each time I am in Bangkok. Bathrooms could use a little update, but overall the rooms are very good, super clean and always comfortable. The beds are so nice and comfy here! Kudos to whoever selected their... More

The SIlom Serene is a small hotel walking distance from Patpong and the night market, and Sala Daeng BTS Station. The location is great for business or pleasure, and it has become my hotel of choice for short business trips. It has a small pool and gym and spacious rooms - I recommend the one bedrooms suite which gives you... More
