The Silom Serene hotel is an okay hotel in a quiet street close to Silom Road. Ask for a room facing the pool, as the side facing the street can still get a bit noisy at night with motorbikes driving by etc. The rooms are okay, bathrooms are definitely in need of an overhaul. Staff is usually very nice albeit... More

Reading the review below I wondered if we were staying at the same hotel. We had an altogether different experience. The check in was a bit slow and could have been friendlier and the welcome drinks and cold flannels appeared then disappeared which was a bit odd as both would have been welcome after a long journey. The room was... More

From the very start it was clear that the hotel was not going to be great. Upon arrival the reception staff seemed more interested in watching videos on his iPad than helping us. This continued and the staff were frankly rude and lazy. The room is in desperate need of an update. It smelt of smoke in spite of the rooms... More

I have been to Bangkok numerous times and stayed at the high prices 5 star hotels. Non of them compare to this boutique hotel. Yes it is not as opulent, but if you want to be in the middle of the action offered by Silom Road, near numerous embassy's (should you need to get a visa), beside so many restaurants... More

I stayed in this hotel for almost two weeks.. I moved to Bangkok and this was my home for next two weeks. I enjoyed the friendly nature of staff, very helpful. From airport to hotel pick up was smooth by hotel staff. Check in very smooth and got a nice room. Restaurant has many good options and room delivery is... More

Friendly staff, greet us warmly. The room are clean, comfortable and affordable price. Near to Silom Road, the street food, lot of 7-11, night market for shopping, and happening club or pub along the street. Definitely will come back again in future.

I found this hotel in 2006 the second time when I visited Bangkok; since then I have visited and stayed in this hotel lots of times. Unlike other four star hotels in Bangkok, this hotel is not that glamorous; but its true charm is room itself and the restaurant. Boutique touch I feel. Breakfast here is fabulous, strongly recommended to... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and found it to be a great choice. It had all the amenities a 4 star would offer. The staff was courteous and helpful though english is a bit of a problem with them but then there is sign language that unites all. There were loud noises through out the first night of our... More

Stayed 2 nights here on a Bangkok shopping stopover. Great location close to Rail and walking distance to Silom shopping, Restaurants and patpong market. Rooms are lovely and big but bathrooms need a huge makeover they are dark dingy and moldy. Staff at Reception quite friendly but food and beverage staff safe rude and not interested. Overall a decent place... More

Hotel just right the corner at Silom area as you can find a good food on the street during morning.... But I first time stay at this hotel for 7 days and didn't know that was so good about the nightshift staff and even the shower was cold and hot all the time. During the cleaning lady clean your room... More
