We stayed here one night in March. We came off the overnight train from Chiengmai and it was lovely to be in our room at 9.00 am. The room was large , very clean with a kettle and t.v. Nice clean sheets spoilt by very old, bobbly top blanket. A simple modern cotton bedspread would have really brightened the room... More

To find this hotel leave the side where all the taxis are and cross the canal. It is on other side of canal. It is a big old hotel but very well looked after, clean sheets, water, fridge, TV. My first room smelled strongly of tobacco. But the staff quickly changed my room without problems. The station view rooms are... More

For the price you paid, can't complain much. The outlook is not great, if fact it look very old. But now it is under phase by phase renovation. But the room is clean, big and it come with free breakfast. Anyway it is on the border of china town. AND it is just opposite Hua Lamphong train station. Walk out... More

Not the Hilton and too be honest wud not normally be my choice of hotel in Bangkok but for an overnight stay right next door to the main Bkk station it's hard to beat for the price. Older basic hotel but very clean and all facilities Inc air con, bathroom work well. Comfortable bed and clean bedding. Very tidy hotel.... More

This hotel is strategic and it is located in the heart of the city nearest to the railway station in Hualumphong Bangkok. The Hualumphong Railway station is also the interchange for the international train from Bangkok to Butterworth, Penang in Malaysia and from Bangkok to Chiangmai. It is about 100 meters away from the Srikrung Hotel and about 5 minutes... More

I stay here for short time only 10 hours. Because of connection of my train. I arrive bangkok 6:00 am at airport. Take taxi from airport departure lounge level 4. Only paid 250 THB taxi to hotel. Hotel very near to train station. Just 3 minute walk and across the small bridge on canal . old style hotel like 1970.... More

Excellent location but that's about it. At this price range, it's difficult to get a hotel near a train station. But prime location might be it's only selling point Location The hotel is the brown building just across the canal from Hualamphong station. Cross one of the little green bridges and you're there. It's also walking distance to Chinatown, and... More

Good sized room, balcony and hot shower, located next to the station which is convenient. However there's not much to see or do around the area, anything is a bit of a walk. The restaurant food is good and they serve breakfast till late. The hotel did the job for a couple of nights.

Pros: Location, comfortable, large rooms with balcony and clean amenities, great value, great views from the balcony (both ways) Cons: Could be little more clean, some spots were dirty, the balcony was messy. The second room I've stayed in was smaller and the furniture in general is outdated

This hotel clearly has its best days past it. It's not new and shiny, but also - it doesn't pretend it is. A very strong point for the location (next to the train station, close to wonderful Chinatown, away from the hell of Khao San), cleanliness, aircon and balcony. Wifi free but you need to get new passwords every day.... More
