I was in Bangkok for 48 h. The room was good for 1 night. On fact, the bed was good but a little bit hard. The TV was exclusively in Thai and no channel in English... Room clean when you close one eye... People was pro and friendly, during my visits it was possible to stock my bad in the... More

We originally only booked 2 nights but extended and they were nice enough to give us a deal but also upgrade our room. It's about a 10 minute walk from khan san road and other sites like temples and the grand palace. The downside is it's far from a skytrain or mrt, for about150 baht you could take a tuk... More

If you are staying for a night or two, this is all you need. As others have said, very basic. This is not a room you will want to hang out in. The bed was nice, and the bathroom was clean. The floor in the bedroom is old, not sure if it was tile, with stains all over it. But,... More

This hotel has a very industrial feel to it. A very bare (huge) room with a double bed, a desk & air con. It has the bare minimum needed for a comfortable night's sleep but it's not exactly expensive. The location is the best thing about it as it is walking distance from the Grand Palace, Khao San Road, Wat... More

A room, a bed, a toilet, sink, shower, air-con and a fridge - that is all. Sri Krungthep is basic. It is as basic as a hospital room. It makes Swedish design look like art deco. You get a bottle of water, a glass, a tiny piece of soap, a TV with a handful of Thai channels and decent wifi.... More

stopped over here for 2 nights as we wanted to go to Khaosan road! A quick walk to Khaosan strip! The hotel is basic but you get what you pay! Would recommend this if your backpacking and want a good nights sleep! Staff are friendly and your left to yourself! Rooms are clean and the beds are comfy! Only thing... More

We booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 10 nights. At the airport we got the information centre to write the name and address in Thai and note that it was behind the city hall and we were taken directly to the hotel by the taxi. The manager was always smiling and always quick with good advice. He... More

It budget, clean enough and the location is close to tourist sights! The staff are friendly and direct you to the tourist info centre close by for a map and info of what to do and how to get around - they are extremely helpful and caution about tuk tuk drivers saying the sights are closed today and essentially trying... I stayed here for 3 nights. Good points: good location, walking distance from the Grand Palace and Khao San Road. Also the room was large with working air con and warm shower. Everything else was okay, but no better. Room was fairly clean but a bit scruffy and the staff were polite enough but not very helpful - they didn't... More
