Great location for shopping and sightseeing. Close to MBK, World Centre, skytrain and city centre. Rooms are comfortable, bathroom is small. Avoid the minibar, and check that you are taking the complimentary water, not the hotels water. Great massages downstairs, after those long days walking.

We were a group of 30 and we opted this hotel as it is in a prime location and very near to the shopping area. The room was decent but the bathroom was too small with cheap quality soap and shampoo. Beware of the wares stocked in the room. Complimentary water bottles are the ones with a red plastic wrap.... More

Hmm, in my opinion the hotel is not that bad and also it is quite clean and they offer breakfast buffet as well which is quite decent. Most of the time i visit bangkok is for shopping and medical services. I will say the place is located at an okay location because compare to the hotel that i use to... More

I visited Bangkok in early May 2014 and stayed in the hotel for 05 days. Hotel is always crowded, located close to Indra Market and Platinum Fashion Mall. Chatuchak Weekend Market is 15 minutes by sky train. Restaurant stall is very welcoming, friendly and accomodative, but front desk was worse that i have ever seen in a hotel. Staff was... More

In sum, the worst hotel in Bangkok. Stayed in a room but hardly fell asleep as the bed was crawling with bedbugs. Called receptionist to change room but she was hardly apologetic. The other room was even worse the previous. Had to sleep on the floor but was still bitten considerably. Breakfast spread was sickeningly the same throughout my 4... More

The hotel is located close to Bangkok's famous Indra market, a good place to shop clothes. Tuktuk charges approx. B 50 and a taxi charges approx. B 60 to the market. One can walk to the market as well. Hotel is good. Offers good variety of items for breakfast. Old hotel, hence furnitures are bit old. Rooms are clean. The... More

Given the choices of the surrounding hotels, I will never return to First Hotel again. We were placed in the older wing on the third level. After returning from shopping, we went back to our room to discover over 10 cockroach nymphs crawling on the walls, hiding beneath a shawl on the table and scurrying across the bathroom sink. We...
