Stayed here many times over the last ten years or so, but my recent stay was the first since about 2012. In the past three years, it's clear the quality of rooms and service has declined remarkably. The staff lost our booking for one of the nights, did not respond to emails with requests about rooms, beds, etc. and were... More

We were there for 3 days, they say that they have a free internet! Yes they have something but it is very slow, better not to have it. They sell per day 200 bath for normal internet servis which is very expensive. Such a nice hotel but trying to make money from internet is not nice. These days 4 star... More

Have been a regular visitor to the hotel for years. This time when I was not around the hotel staff were rude to my wife and her cousin and we has paid a lot of money for a 2 bedroom suite . The wi if is not great and they want you to pay extra for better down load speed... More

Other than the slow "free wifi", limited choices in breakfast and the per hourly tuk tuk ferry services to the nearest BTS station which is around 1KM away, this hotel is basically fine. Location is centralise if you travel via taxi to anywhere. Room decor is above average and during my recent stay, i was upgraded to the presidential suite... More

We booked a superior room at the Davis Hotel for a few dollars more than a regular room, figuring we'd appreciate the extra space after many days of travel in lesser, smaller spaces. That paid off quite well, as at check-in we were upgraded to a really large and very well-appointed room for our full three-day stay. We had such... More

I have stayed twice within a month in Davis (Corner Wing), actually it's an extension building therefore which is no other facilities except accommodation. Those pool, gym, restaurant are located at the main wing. So it got quietness to me once return to room. The service in Davis is. courtesy and attentive, rooms are quite spacious as the studio is... Having travelled to Bangkok many times and staying at the Davis, l now have to say its living on its name. There are so many new hotels that outshine this once beautiful hotel. I was truely disappointed on my last visit and think the breakfast chef must have been from its early days as the same items appear everytime there... More

The Davis is fine, but no way is it a 4 star place. Sukhumvit hosts a number of cheap, big, aging places like this, but some are much closer to the rail transport line on the main drag. The place advertises a shuttle, but doesn't make clear where and how to use it. The 15 minute walk to the station... More

This is actually two hotels under one name, one of the hotels is the West Wing. The room was comfortable and the location was fine, but the only provided 384 kb/s WiFi and wanted to charge more for 40 mb/s. When I paid for the upgrade I still got less than 1 mb/s. It also has that annoying username and... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
