Value for money is just not there unfortunately. The hotel is not what it appears. Rooms are large, but not very appointed. Bathrooms are very dated with dim lighting and a distinct lack of included toiletry supplies. Breakfast is very minimalistic and basic with little choices. The free WiFi is not good at all with a maximum speed of 128kbps... More

The hotel is located within 500 meters of two hypermarts, a neighborhood mall and a few minutes drive from a major shopping center and the BTS (overhead train system for inter city travel). Many restaurants are nearby with a 24 hour McDonald's within 100 meters. We were upgraded to a deluxe room and liked the room layout; lots of well... More

Upon arrival in the afternoon I was pleaseantly surprised by the look of the building, very classy ond not so ultra modern as many other top-notch hotels in Sukhumvit. I could experience a flawless and quick check-in by extremely friendly staff but then found out that my room was not ready. When confronting the reception staff they apologized and offered... More

I stayed in the main building at the back so it was nice and quiet. The room was spacious and clean but dated. The bed was comfortable with a choice of soft and less soft pillows. The lighting was poor though. There was a good selection of amenities - nicely presented. The bathroom was clean and the lighting was decent... More

Staying at the Davis Main Hotel in Bangkok for a meeting. Not impressed. Requested and pre-paid for a non- smoking room. The entire hallway stinks of tobacco smoke, along with the room. There is a Glade air solid stick in the room- huh?! That's low rent. There is black mold in the corners of the shower stall. The lighting in... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and found it to be an excellent stay! Its a little bit dated in terms of it being Bangkoks first real Boutique Hotel many moons ago but still, I got a lot of room for my money. I upgraded to the Ambassador Suite for not a lot extra and had two bedrooms and a large... More

Loved our rooms (we stayed there twice during a 2 week stay). Swimming pool area is beautiful so is the Baan Thai. We had a superior room at the back of the hotel which is quieter. Breakfast wasn't good, best to avoid and go get something elsewhere.

The hotel deserves a full 5 if it were not for the restaurant and the restaurant staff. While the breakfast was good, the lunch was average. The only staff in the hotel which had major communication therefore service issue was the restaurant staff. As far as the rest of the stay is concerned - We were upgraded to an executive... More

Very nice luxurious rooms, quiet and clean. Excellent service by helpful hotel staff. Went back to this hotel 3 separate times and every time it was constant quality. Good beds, nice and clean bathrooms and pretty much anything you could possibly need available in the room.

I stayed in the Corner building for 9 nights. The room was excellent and staff helpful. Breakfast was in the restaurant in the main building and very adequate. My only complaint was the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors outside the lift on the floor I stayed on, and sometimes in my room if the air conditioner was... More
