I just stayed one night .No soundproof on the rooms, but that isn´t a problem if you just need to sleep. The staff can speak english and the australian lady makes you feel at home. I ll come back for sure. At night is a little bit dark, but not scary. Near everything. About 15 minutes walking from Phrom Phong... More

I have spent the last three weekends here and it is great. It is very clean. The rooms are quirky. There is a small library. Easy walk to BTS I walked from Asok which is two stations away, easy stroll. If you want to shop the Emporium is near, great cheeses, not cheap but a special treat for me. Close... More

We've been visiting Bangkok for years, but our regular hotel had closed down. As a result, Hotel California was perfect for us to be in the same part of Bangkok that we are used to - walking distance to malls, supermarkets, Skytrain, underground, parks with kids stuff, familiar restaurants and food stalls. The Hotel is on a 'dead end' soi... More

This was a gamble since it was my first time is Asia let alone Bangkok. I didn't know which area to stay in but chose well. Sukumvit is a great area and this hotel was in a perfect spot. It's close to the Skytrain, which can easily get you to the temples and Khao San Road. The hotel had a... More

The hotel works excellently as budget accommodation. It served that function superbly. The staff in the morning made things uncomfortable for us, though They'd giggle, laugh and stare each and everytime we left. This included when we arrived. Very odd. The bedsheets had dirty footprints all over them, to which one of the giggling men ignored on showing us our... More

The rooms in this hotel are nice & have a boutique feel. I was v pleased to find a hairdryer & wifi was good. However this is not the place to go if you are looking to catch up on sleep, as we were following on from an international transfer. We were woken at 8am by hammering, drilling, saws and... More

Booked this budget-friendly hotel via Agoda for 3 night stay April of last year. 10-min walk to the nearest train station. People are helpful and rooms are clean. Be sure you have the location map as the hotel is along the street and not the main road.

Located in a street just off the main road so it doesn't have the traffic noise. However, the walls are thin and you can hear loud neighbors and the construction going on next door. The BTS station is nearby so you can get to anywhere rather easily. There's a Tops supermarket across the road which is super handy. Also a... More

2 night stay in this hotel. Location: Not far from BTS station. The only thing which is not good is when we went back late at night, after 9pm, all shops and restaurants nearby closed, we had nothing to eat at night. Nearby there are many shops provide massages specially for men only. I noticed there are quite a lot... More

Booked through booking.com, and got a much better deal than the rack price. The ups: The location is fantastic. Very close to the skytrain but tucked away on a quiet side street. The bed was huge and comfortable, the shower had decent pressure. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The downs: The room could've been cleaned a bit more... More
