For me the Cabochon is a home away from home. I own a small hotel on an island in the Gulf of Thailand and often stay at the Cabochon when I am in Bangkok. I adore the hotel. It is a home away from home.

Cabochon is a small jewel in the hotel sector in Bangkok. It's small (12 rooms or so), not cheap, but quirky and welcoming. The staff are fantastic, and will go all out to make your visit pleasurable. It is the opposite of a Hilton experince, so if you're into that, stay away. If you're into small slightly weird hotels, don't... More

Enjoyed 3 great nights at the Cabachon. This is the quintessential small botique hotel, with excellent facilities and a wonderful staff. Neocolonial architecture with very detail a modern version based on design from the 20's. Think door knobs, bathroom fixtures, everything. So cool to stay in the center of BKK in a beautiful propery such as this The staff was... More

A friend and I just had a wonderful 4 night stay in one of the two bedroomed residences in this charming quirky colonial style hotel. It's filled with beautiful things that are either saved over much time or recently acquired by someone with seriously good taste. There's so many interesting books to read in the library that I want to plan... We stayed 2 nights at Cabochon over New Year, the hotel is beautiful, small enough to have a personal feel and the staff all attentive from reception to bar and restaurant. We loved our room, the bathroom was large and shower very powerful. If we were to stay again we would maybe consider upgrading to a larger room though we... More

Me and my friend stayed on 2014 Christmas Eve. No matter for the building itself or the rooms, "classy" and "cozy" were the words best suit to describe. The staff were friendly and helpful. Moreover, we were pampered by the "Panpuri" products provided. Credits also goes to the chefs in "Thai Lo Yeh" & "Joy Luck Club" for providing nice... More

Really fantastic place, and the best food we had in Bangkok. I am a foodie with michelinstarchefs in my family. Believe me, the food in this hotel is to die for. Very very good, and authentic. They have pigs ears and ducks beaks on the menu.

I stayed for two nights at the Cabochon before flying home ... it is a gorgeous hotel. The building and decor are beautiful and I loved the smell of various candles and tea lights around the corridors and in my room. The little balcony off my room was a lovely place to sit and relax. The room was stylish, comfortable... More
