This is an interesting small hotel set away from the fast pace that is Bangkok. We loved all the public rooms that are filled with eclectic collections covering many past eras. Our balcony room was a good size although the bathroom was very cosy! The room had nice furniture but really needed a touch up where walls and cupboards had... More

A really special place in Bangkok. Unlike nearly every other hotel there, this is a low rise, colonial style hotel which is super relaxed. Located perfectly for exploring trendy Sukhimvit, you will have a wealth of great places to drink and eat within 15 min walk (again unlike many hotels which are often quite far away any cafe/bar/restaurants) Hotel itself... First time to stay in a hotel with 1920s' French style, the place is elegant and feel like home. So different from Bangkok , feel like a secret garden. Like the desk lamp design in room and wooden floor is nice..

The Cabochon residence is a true secret retreat. Quaint and boutique, you find it hidden down a quiet side street in central Bangkok. The charming host is commended for her style in set up of the residence. It's so nice she is sharing such a beautiful building and experience with so many. All staff provide a very warm delivery of... More

This boutique hotel is absolutely stunning. The décor is stylish and calming - the perfect oasis from bustling Bangkok. We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our Thai trip. The staff were very helpful and attentive, helping to carry our bags and order taxis for us. We only had breakfast, but that was delicious. I honestly didn't... More

Room was very comfortable, and it was quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Loved the swimming pool on the roof. Breakfast was nice, but there was not a large selection. Breakfast rooms were filled with books, and it was an interesting selection.

We are spending 3 days here and it is home away from home but with all the luxury you expect from a hotel The most comfy bed and the best ever G&T selection. They have an excellent restaurant served in very colonial surrounds which are reminiscent of Africa

Fell in love with this hotel as soon as I arrived and had to sit in the magnificent library for a while to wait until my room was ready. This hotel reminded me of a smaller version of Raffles in Singapore. Great attention to detail, superb breakfast, friendly staff and spacious rooms. Loved the pool on top of the residence... More

This place was great. The rooms were really comfortable and quiet. It's located off the main street but in a nice cul-de-sac that's clean and also quiet. Didn't have dinner there but the restaurant menu looked good. Nice bar. The staff was wonderful! So helpful and kind. Only one small complaint. The hotel is beautifully decorated but I wasn't a... My husband and I stayed at the Cabochon Hotel over the Easter Weekend in April 2015. We found the hotel through The Secret Retreats website, and this being our first trip to Bangkok and Thailand, we decided to try something a little different from the standard Hyatt and Four Seasons of the world. Our experience with Cabachon started before we... More
