We were just a visitor at one of this hostel international branch located at somewhere in Sukhumvit 25 within Asoke area not far from the sky train station. Our friend were staying there but me and my wife were staying at this hostel in Phitsanulok road. By the way we found out that our friend's room was without windows, the room was... More

We stayed in this hostel during our visit to Bangkok in July. My recommend is short. Go for this place if you look for something cheap. Anyway, keep in mind many places in town offer room with same rate but attractive locations and helpful staffs. Go to Khaosan Road or Samsen Road or Silom instead of this remote and unconventional... Situated behind the Hostelling International Building. No Elevator. Beautiful views from top floor. Taxis often have trouble finding this place: we found it useful to get a leaflet from the hostelling international building out the front. Close to 7/11 and plenty of sights and attractions close by. Getting to Kawasan Road in a taxi ON METER is about 50baht. Internet... More

A hostel is a hostel, a bed to sleep in and a bathroom to wash up in. This hotel offered these basics.

I would like to recommend this hostel very highly. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly ,nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are clean and adequate and the washing facilities are spotless. The prices are very reasonable and include a small breakfast. I had a single room for one night and was in a 4 bed dorm for 6... More

This was one of our favourite places to stay in Bangkok. So much so, that we returned to stay again before leaving Southeast Asia in August, 2007 (3 months later). The rooms here were old but were clean. Very basic accomodation.. but what more do you need at a hostel? Here you have the luxury of having your own room... More

Excellent place to stay... At first you don't know what you are walking into... the first night we stayed we were pretty scared, but hey it was really cheap and we couldn't find any other place to stay. We were travelling around Thailand but everytime we came back to Bangkok we would stay here. We met some really awesome people,... More

We stayed here in a double for one night; it's very run down, the beds are dirty and the bathroom leaked. For the same (or just a bit more) money - $8-15 a night - you can have a much nicer place in the Dusit area or down by Khaosan Road. We ended up moving to the Shanti Lodge about... More

Thank you for your honest review. It is true that in 2005 our building was quite run down and needed repair. We would like to invite you back to see all the improvements we have made since your review was posted. Now with remodeled rooms, new furniture and other enhancements (including free breakfast, internet and Wi Fi), we hope you... More
