Good location but the hotel is in desperate need of a makeover. Outdated furniture, stained carpeting in rooms, hallways and public areas show the shabby side of the Nana hotel. An adequate breakfast buffet is spoiled by its environment: an institution like barren space that would not look out of place in the Shawshank Redemption.

Well - Nana. Guests stay here as a cheap base for the delights of Sukhumvit, which includes sleaze. Hotel is reasonably priced, and functional, but there's no real feeling of being pampered. Avoid the swarm of unmarked taxi drivers outside - go to the street and get a metered one if you're going to the airport.

I first stayed here in 1971 and the general atmosphere remains about the same. Lots of "old-timers" staying here as well as a totally new generation. They offer good room rates and the service is good. Room price includes a very good buffet breakfast fro 6 - 10. From the hotel, it's a one minute walk to all of the... More

Travelled to Bangkok for a change, stayed in this hotel for the first time. The staff was great, the room we had was a family room, great for the size but the decor was very old fashioned, our air con worked great, didn't have any view as we was low down and our window faced a brick wall. The swimming... More

As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Ta. She gave me a very warm welcome and helped me organise my bus routes for the next day. Rooms are super clean, swimming pool is fantastic. Location is good as it's near the nightlife . For the price you pay this hotel is amazing value for my money!

Stayed for 1 night at Nana Hotel, after arriving from England. Some changes to hotel but still the same reliable and efficient hotel as usual. Excellent location, professional experienced staff, value for money. Stay here every time I visit Bangkok- why change a good thing?

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
