The hotel is in the best of the area, surrounded by star hotels, market, malls, restaurants etc.....the area where you would like to be. Rooms were compact, and clean and comfortable. Staffs were great. Transportation - BTS and Skytrain were in walking distance from the hotel. tuk tuk are available round the clock. Lot of Indian Restaurants near to the... More

Manhattan is a well run budget hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel itself has seen some years of service, but I stayed in older hotels for more money on my journeys. Everybody is freindly and helpfull, the roomservice is efficient (in a Thai way) and the breackfast is various (due to the many diffrent cultures staying there. They even... More

Sukhumvit is where you wanna be if your travelling to Bangkok on a budget and yet want to be near the shopping malls, bars and local hot spots. Travel from here to any Chatuchak Market, Chinatown, Majority of Wats(temples) or even Asiatique in the south is not hard. Usually, hotels further down a Soi can be a tricky especially for... More

The best thing about Manhattan is its location. Its on one of the happening street in Bangkok, and things are good as long as you don't need any assistance from staff, else the staff gets rude for no reason. Rooms are clean, good and comfortable. Breakfast menu is pretty decent for vegetarians.

The hotel is good with a great location. The front of house staff excellent. However, the reception staff are rude unprofessional and unhelpful. There was no hot water for my entire stay and the reception staff just laughed it off and looked at me as if I was mad.

I stayed here on May 2014 for 2 days on my honeymoon. The rooms are nice and comfortable, the hotel is located in the middle of the city so was able to roam out and one could easily find restaurants nearby. The service is good, the staff were courteous but i had a personal problem. Just a slight confusion with the... More

I visited this hotel with my wife during my trip to Bangkok in May. I found this place aptly located. It is pretty close to the buzzing night life of the city but still quite peaceful and soothing. All the major night life destinations are at a considerable walking distance. The hotel staff during my visit was warm and helpful.... More

I'm quite shocked by the decent reviews for this hotel. It is a 2 star and that's being generous. A few words to describe: old, dirty, run down, out dated and poor staff. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because you really do get what you pay for. Pay a low price and expect the worst. The perk... More
