The Silom Village Inn offers reasonably priced, spacious and clean rooms in the central business district of Silom in Bangkok. The Silom district is a clean and safe business district and has good shopping. I would give the location of this hotel a "Very Good" on its location in Silom, set over a nicer mall. There are lots of restaurants... More

The hotel is very central walking distance to the river and skytrain. There are plenty of restaurants close by. We had a large room, space and it was clean and nice. Wifi worked very good and was fast even though different login at reception and room.

Rude staff and poor service. Staff refused to admit booking mistakes and was exceedingly rude. Deluxe rooms are nice and the village atmosphere a respite from busy Bangkok. Standard rooms are dumpy, noisy and very worn especially bathrooms. Location is good. Stores have nice items but be prepared to drive a hard bargain. Breakfast overpriced and not great.

With this kind of conditions, they shouldn't charge 1300 B per night. Loud noise from the a/c and the crapy floor. Anyone who plans to come to Bangkok, I personally not recommend it at all . This is not a pleasant stay at all.

I have travelled and worked in Bangkok for 5 years and never have I been somewhere so overpriced. I have been in more exclusive and expensive places but this is a glorified roadside diner. A basic meal for two with no drinks will cost minimum 2500 baht. A half pint of lager is 150 baht. It is in a prime... More

I was not a guest in this hotel buy I feel the need to share my wonderful story! All my money got stolen in a 7/11 closeby. I had no money left for the taxi, no map and my phone was out of battery, so I couldnt use google maps to find my way back to my hotel. I knew... More

A good location for transit travelers. Close to the railway station and accessible from the airport. Lots of money changers and food stalls around. Has it's own shopping center too. Rates are economical and makes it ideal as a no frills hotel to stay in Bangkok if you are transiting the city

Just returned to this hotel for one night. Its a great location if you're arriving at the airport and leaving by train. It also has a good restaurant, albeit a bit pricy, plus an excellent breakfast. Admittedly the air con is noisy and the shower not great but overall it does the job.

To say that we enjoyed our 2 days at this hotel would be an understatement. The pictures on the website are are somewhat deceiving. Although located in the centre of Bangkok, the room prices were reasonable, and only if you were just going to use the room to sleep. The hotel is in the Silom Village complex, which consists of... Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
