On our arrival the staff couldn't be more friendly, two lovely gentlemen who were very happy to help. Rooms were basic, but had a bed and a bathroom, which was all that was needed for our short stay. A little bit out of the way from where we needed to be (as it was our first time in Bangkok and... More

Our trip was extended by another night and no more rooms were available in the neighboring Chateau De Bangkok where we were booked. Since we needed a room just to stay for the night, we decided to check-in at Jim's Lodge. The room was basic but we were pretty satisfied with it. The room has a big fridge as well... More

Lost count of number of times we have stayed here. Our first stay was 12 years ago, our first visit to Bangkok. The rooms are clean and comfortable, staff friendly and always very helpful. We usually stay for 2 nights on our way through to our next destination and 2 nights before we fly back home to the UK. Sky... More

We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a young teenage and a small toddler. The room was okay in size and included needed amenities, but there was plenty to complain about. One of the biggest issues was the air conditioner is old style and was on the floor. Our 2-year old thought it was a neat thing to play... More

Stayed here as we had about a 10 hour night layover and needed to sleep before our 30 hour journey home. It served our purpose. I'm not a big fan of carpeted rooms in SE Asia,.. Or anywhere hot and humid for that matter. I think it's unsanitary. Room was musty, and the bathroom drains reaked badly. Otherwise, the aircon... More

I have stayed here many times, its not your 5 star hotel, but it was decent enough with a very nice breakfast and polite staff. I would recommend this to the 1 to 2 night traveller.I have never had a problem staying here, and why would i?Its very reasonable.

The only purpose actually of staying in Jim's lodge is the church, nothing else. Staff are polite, with basic English but the rooms are quite old and need renovation. Very near to shopping malls but you need to take the train to avoid traffic. Yes that, correct near convenient sore is the 7-eleven just opposite Holy Redeemer's.

Reminds me of typical provincial hotels in the Philippines, smells quite old. Clean room, though. Not for those with heavy luggages since you have to go up/down a short flight of stairs after riding the elevator. Not really walking distance from the BTS. Staff are very friendly, accommodating, & helpful. Free Wi-Fi :)

Recently I booked this hotel for my wife, she had business at the US Embassy. The hotel is in walking distance to Embassy so I thought it was a good location. Made reservation and received confirmation email. A few mins later received a phone call asking if I was a US citizen and if I live in Thailand. Told the... More
