Although the hotel is located very centrally for most attractions it is a little hidden on a small street. However if you print out a Google map and show it to the driver he should have no problem getting there. The hotel is very nice on the budget scale. The hotel is overzealous in desciribing itself as 3-star as a single star is more appropriate. The rooms are large but dated and shabby, say a Holiday Inn decorated in about 1978. This is unacceptable given their prices and the abundance of good, affordable design in Thailand. The odour from cleaning chemicals was so strong I could barely take it.... more

This hotel is ok for a short time stay...but a little bit overpriced. The rooms are not so clean and in our room the light didn´t work sometimes so at some times we did´t have any lights. If you are booking here make sure you get the right hotel. This is now called the Silom City Hotel. There is also a Silom City Inn which is just around the corner in Silom Road. We thought we had our room booked here for one night but when we arrived it wasn't and they had none available!! They let us use their internet to search for elsewhere and rang around for us. In the meantime a room became available. One of the most expeinive suites on the top floor. AND... they gave us a discount!... more
