Have stayed here a couple of times. The refurbishment has improved it. It's not super luxurious & staff are hit and miss but good location, quiet for BKK. Breakfast is costly but there are good options all around. All the cafes opposites are good.

The hotel is perfectly located to visit the majority of sights in BKK and located far enough from Khao San that the streets seem less mad and more local. We were able to walk to the grand palace, a host of other temples and a lot of inexpensive eateries from here. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable and staff are... More

Really lovely hotel, I'd give it 3 stars, but there is a lot of construction work going on at the moment, which will work to your advantage because you get put into the sister hotel which is the same building, just different elevator, but you also get free use of the pool now! Otherwise you normally don't!

We stayed in this hotel and weren't expecting much based on negative reviews, however it exceeded all our expectations! Firstly we got there and were advised this hotel was now called hotel nouveau! We were situated on the fourth floor in a huge room!! It was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was huge!!! The 7th floor pool bar was great... More

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. We arrived far too early to check in but we were able to leave our luggage securely. The hotel is in a fantastic location; close to good bars and restaurants and cultural spots but just out of the way that it's not disruptive. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially the gentleman who... More

My partner and I stayed here for three nights at the beginning of November. As soon as we walked in we received a free upgrade to a room on the 5th floor. The room was massive for a city centre hotel. Nice big bed and a walk in shower that would easily fit eight people. The staff had constant smiles... More

aversge hotel. The rooms are big, but they are not very inspiring and the beds aren't very comfortable. The bathrooms are quiet small, especially the shower. There is a nice social area in the lobby and it us in a good location fir tourist spots. The staff are truly great and will do anything you require. One night is probably... More

We stayed here for one night. The main positive for the hotel is its excellent location. It is in easy walking distance of the main tourist areas and there are some nice cafes to eat at along the main road. This hotel is ok. This is a budget hotel and we were not expecting anything amazing so we were quite... More

We wanted to stay here for two nights hoping for a reasonable room for the buget price. Instead we found a hotel that feels like a ghost town, while under constant building work. The rooms were super noisy and also very dirty. There were stains all over the walls and ants living in the bathroom. When we complained about this... More

This is where our group tour ended so being part of such a group we were in one of the budget rooms, even so it was a very comfortable, pleasant room. The staff and service were fantastic, as was the breakfast and we felt like we were in much better than budget accomodation. This hotel is also situated in a... More
