I was here last weekend for a transit halt for a night.. I am staying with ambassador after a gap of 3 yrs.. Nothing much has changed.. Stayed in the old wing.. Decent sized room, hard beds as is the case all over Thailand, the toilet was a bit small and dated, the overall hotel (old wing) could use a... More

I stayed in both wings. The tower wing is quite luxurious and has wifi in the room but if your budget doesn't allow it you won't be disappointed in the old wing. You can get wifi in the lobby. Be sure to get breakfast included because it's a full buffet with made to order omelets or Asian fare and very... More

To stay at Ambassador Hotel is a guessed choice. The position is ideal for the typical shopping of the tourist, directly on the Sukhumvit road and just 100 meters from the station of the SKytrain (BTS) .....Knowing how to book, in internet, or with local agencies (Thai) we may pay a room in the '' tower '' less than 50... Our stay at this hotel was ok, except the air con wasn't much good and the windows were quite dirty, it looked as though they hadn't been cleaned for quite some time. Other than that it wasn't too bad. The view of the city from our 25th floor was quite amazing.

Loved this hotel! The room was comfortable, the swimming pool was extremely nice and the food was ok, not the best you can get in Bangkok, I would recommend the street food far more! Spa looked well equipped although didn't use it. The staff all speak good English and are extremely helpful. This is a nice place to stay in... More

Ambassador Hotel is overall a very good hotel. We are 2 families staying here right at the moment for 2 nights (yesterday and tonight) with kids and adults. The Check-In was extremely smooth. The buffet breakfast is very good. The House Keeping staff is very very helpful. We asked for extra towels, iron etc. and got within few minutes. This... More

I arrived in Bangkok in May and stayed at the Ambassador Hotel Bangkok until I found a condo to rent for my six month stay. I always stay at the Ambassador because it is in a great location and the price is very good considering the great services you get. The location near the sky train is very important to... More

I can understand why there were bite marks in our sheets, the breakfast was unsuitable even for the rats. This hotel seems to be the choice for package tourists from India, Pakistan and the gulf. Cheap but definitely not cheery. No service, no security for the tower block which was quite separate from the main lobby. Did I mention the... More

This hotel is good value for money, clean and quiet. We didn't choose the optional breakfast as it was quite pricey but walked out down the road for a cheaper breakfast option. The main criticism I had was that we arrived at about 11am, straight from the airport, only to be told that an 'early' check in would cost us... More
