I was very pleased with my stay at the Tawana. From arrival to departure I had a very positive feeling about the property. The hotel blends classical elements and modern conveniences. The entire staff was hospitable and willing to make your stay enjoyable. They were among the most exceptional staff I have ever experienced. The hotel is located on major... More

The Internet in hotel is really bad. I need to call reception couple of times to reset it. Beside this you need to pay 200 baht. That's what they call high speed internet. I would not recommend to stay in this hotel and I will never be back here.

This hotel is easily accessible by taxi, MRT or BTS (Saladaeng) and is really just steps away from the busy Patong night market. The staff is very friendly, competent and very helpful. As everywhere in Thailand, a few words of thai language will get you much further. The lobby is sumptuous and immaculate clean. The elevators are wood carved and... More

It may look a bit dated but don't let looks fool you, it has a charm on its own. Breakfast buffet is good. Pillows were really soft. Quiet hallways. It has made some updates on tech but the staff are always helpful and courteous. Great location around the places to eat, shop, and even just sit at the window and... More

Stayed here as a base for transit to Cambodia for two nights. Very good four star right in the heart of the city. Good market across the street and Jim Thompson' s house round the corner. Breakfast excellent buffet style. Food at the poolside one evening was good with great live music and not expensive. Room bed superb, though the... More

I wished TA had a button between 'Average' and 'Very Good' as that is where I would have most readily placed my vote. The welcome at the Tawana hotel was genuinely warm and friendly, reception staff similarly friendly and efficient. I was lucky to be upgraded to a Garden view room with balcony (actually a small patio) overlooking the very... More

Nice place, very good location, very very very nice personal. The staff really does its best! The buliding might be a little old... Very nice pool, with bar. Nice decorations, wonderful flowers!! Some of the bed sheets are not quite as expected . . . Not the cleanest place at all. But over all good for sleeping there and go... More

The biggest benefit of this hotel is location. Very just few steps to MRI, night market at Pathpong, very well conected with a public transport with airport. When you eneter the hotel you feel like you mooved in time many years ago into colonial period...It is just not my cup of tea... but servis was very good, staff extremly friendly... More

The Location is absolutely perfect. Close to Patpong and the Skytrain is within about five minutes walking distance. 7Eleven next door. The Breakfast was very good an really international, american, chinese, british, european ... . The rooms are good, clean and very big for a central City Hotel. There is a pool, but we didn't try it. Also we didn't... More
