This hotel is in a perfect location and is reasonably priced. The pool was nice and breakfast was great. The only bad part is that you can hear everything as the hallways have wooden floors and are like echo chambers. I heard doors slamming all night.

Hotel staff so friendly, rooms spacious and good value we had a room with balcony and that was very nice to see pool each morning, the staff are amazing and so helpful, noting is too much trouble. Just seconds from the night market but not too close all you need is on your door step.. But please please eat some... More

Athough I booked pretty close to the travel date, which is in the peak end of year season, the price I got was very cheap comparing with the service and facility quality. Staff were very friendly and accessible. The room was comfortable, spacious and nice decoration. And what I like the most about the hotel is its location, which is... More

Hotel worth visit due to excellent customer servive and decorations. The only thing which could be better is swimming pool. It is rather small and because of its location between buildings stays in a shade for most of the day

The Tawana Hotel is conveniently located 5-10 mins from Sala Daeng BTS and Silom Metro stations and within a 20 minute taxi ride of many of the most popular tourist spots in Bangkok. In addition the lovely Lumphini Park is close by and there is plenty of night life including Patpong and Silom Road night markets. Our room was specious... More

From the moment you step through the door, nothing is too much trouble. The team of Concierge really make it. There attention to you requests is second to none. The rooms are spacious with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel is close to an all night market and there are plenty of places to eat catering for all budgets.... More

I elected to stay here over some of the highly rated hotels in the bustle of Sukhumvit Rd and am glad that I did. The location is fantastic; minutes walk from Patpong Night Market, busy Silom Rd, and tranquil Lumphini Park. Trips by taxi to popular sights in Bangkok were inexpensive and quick (about a 15-20 minute ride in any... More

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
