I wasn't going to write this review as I had already wrote and submitted my comments to Siam City Hotel on the comment card and submitted when I checked out. Apparently they never bothered reading it because a few days ago I received an email from the General Manager asking me to "tell others about your stay with us". So... More

In Bangkok the Sukhothai Bangkok, the JW Marriott, The Sheraton these are true 5 Star Hotels -- the Siam City Hotel is (on international standards) a Four Star. I asked the reception manager about the Five Star rating and she said "Yes, we are a 'Thailand' 5 Star Hotel.” Oh, kinda like the 'Thailand' Levi Jeans on the street. Positive:... More

Really enjoyed the Siam City, the hotel has a number of good restaurants which is lucky as there is nothing good nearby that we could find. The Skytain is nearby which is great for access around town, crossing the road to get there is not for the feint hearted either!! Great service and a good pool a positve experience all... More

When I booked to stay at the Siam City Hotel I presumed it was a five star hotel as they advertise themselves as such. The foyer and reception looks a little impressive but is not what you’d expect from a five star hotel. The rooms are extremely dated and remind me of a 1970’s 3 star Holiday Inn. The plumbing... My first night in this hotel was terrible, as I was on a floor with smoking rooms. However, the hotel staff was very efficient in moving me to a non-smoking floor. The rooms and bathrooms were a bit dated. I could not open my windows for a "fresh" Bangkok breeze. The hotel serves very good Thai food. It is next... More

We chose this hotel because we wanted a nice place to stay in Bangkok and close to the Skytrain. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the door man. Only 2 blocks to walk to the Skytrain. You can get your laundry done very cheap down the end of the small laneway to the left of the hotel.... More

We enjoyed the excellent care taking by the staff of the Siam City Hotel in Bangkok. The location of the hotel is also conveniently located with the sky train so close. Good quality rooms, excellent fitness facilities and a lovely Thai massage! Friendly and very helpful staff.
