Siam City is a lovely hotel with a great staff. Upon check in they sent us to the bar for a fresh juice drink on the house, nice touch after just arriving from the airport. However they did not have our room ready, as well they did not have the non-smoking room we had requested (this seems very common in... More

My first time in Bangkok and I took pot luck with this hotel and was not disappointed. The service at this hotel is second to none and everybody from the doorman to the cleaners are exceptionally friendly and always helpful. The rooms are nice, clean and very comfortable. The restaurants and the bars are also very good. In particular, we... More

We came to Bangkok with one agenda in mind - shopping. We booked into Siam City Hotel because it was close to the sky train and seemed to offer the best value for money - it is advertised as five star but does not command the same prices as some of the other five star venues in the middle of... Found the hotel clean and well appointed with very courteous staff. The room was adequate although not very large. This hotel was booked for us by our travel agent in Wallasey England (the Coop) Checked up on this web site before we left to ensure it was going to be a suitable location as we were on a lightening tour... The Siam City Hotel is a cheap and clean accommmodation in Bangkok and as this was our first visit to Bangkok it was great to go somewhere very comfortable that was not too busy. However, as we started to explore Bangkok we would now recommend finding another hotel closer to the centre of town where there are more food outlets... More

I stay at Siam City whenever I am in Bangkok for business and have been there over 20 times in the past 2 years. Every single time I am always greeted with bright smiles and friendly Sawadee kha or Sawadee Khup. It's only minutes away from the BTS station, and close to many shops and restaurants. The breakfast also has... More

Siam city Hotel is a good hotel at Bangkok. Not very central, but easily reachable. The hotel is a bit old and we did not like the carpet on the floor.

Our travel agent had us booked in another hotel but we did some homework and wanted a hotel near the skyrail. This was excellent as we didn't have to rely on taxis or tuk tuks in heavy traffic to get into the main shopping centre. The hotel was lovely and our room was very acceptable. Hotel staff very pleasant. Would... More

I had a very negative experience during my recent stay. I've stayed here a number of times since 2000 and have recommended it to many friends and business associates. I like the atmosphere and food. Most of the staff are quit pleasant though most don't speak English well, if at all. As an American who speaks Thai fluently and lives... More

we just returned from Thailand and we had a really good experience at Siam City Hotel. The room was spacious and clean and had many amenities. The staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel was only 2 minutes away from the train station which is absolutely helpful since taxis were such a rip off. We had a really good time... More
