I had the pleasure of staying at The Sukosol recently as part of a football related business trip recently. My friends at King Power looked after the reservation and by placing me at this wonderful hotel they guaranteed a comfortable stay in Bangkok. The rooms were impeccable, spacious and had THE most comfortable bed. The food was second to none,... More

We have stayed two days in August. If you are a non-smoker I recommend you to ask a non-smoking room. Otherwise you may not sleep well because of the bad smell. The breakfast was good. You may taste traditional Thai foods even at the breakfast. The front office was helpfull when we asked to change our room a non-smoking one.

I booked this hotel after researching from Tripadvisor reviews. It is close to airport rail link station and BTS station so one can avoid the famous traffic jam in Bangkok. It is rated 4.5 stars but in reality it is not more than 3.5 stars. The hotel is under- staff, I waited more than 20 mins for checking in at... More

My friends and I had an excellent time staying and performing at The Sukosol, generously accommodated under the auspices of Kamala Sukosol, a renowned Thai jazz singer, and her musically talented family. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I had the pleasure of sampling the extensive in-room dining menu. During my stay, I ate my breakfasts and dinners at... More

Impressive 5-star entrance and public rooms. Staff were efficient and polite, we ate all our meals there (lunch and evening) and enjoyed what we had, although some things (like buffet) a little expensive. Enjoyed the Piano music with a drink in the relaxing bar - prices good. Nice clean pool which we used. There was also excellent free internet in... More

This hotel used to be the Siam city hotel but has changed recently to Sukosol. This name looks old fashion tyo a Thai like me, hence, in spite of the remarablediscount by7 Agoda, I was very carefully checking the details before reserving to make sure it is not as old as the name. When I reached the hotel, it has... More

Rooms are not spacious but have enough space for a person or two. Swimming pool is not huge also. However, the location of the hotel is superb - only a minute walking from BTS/Airport Rail Link. Receptionists were attentive but night-shift telephone operator was with very bad attitude. Food was mediocre but reasonable price. Overall stay was good but not... More

Booked this hotel through travelzoo for two nights before flying to southern Thailand. Centrally located with easy access to Phaya Thai sky train station, although if you have lots of luggage a taxi would be easier as mentioned by previous reviewer. Skytrain is convenient to use for central shopping centers and hop to Jim Thompson's Silk Museum from National Stadium... More

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful Staff. Nice rooms, very clean and relaxing. Although it's near a very busy area including a train station, from our room we heard nothing. Location is ideal if you are visiting Bangkok for a few days and want to travel around by sky train. The train station is less than a 5 min walk.... More
