Arrived the first time at this hotel late at night to be greeted by smiling attentive receptionists who had my reservation form already completed and just awaiting my signature. A cold drink and cool towel was on hand to welcome me. With a minimum of fuss taken to my room, shown how everything worked. Hotel has a library corner on... More

I've been staying at the Swiss Lodge for the last ten years. Recently I ventured back to the property to stay a few days in one of their suites. There is one suite per floor, and it is similar to a small one bedroom apartment. The bedroom and living area are separated by a door with wooden slats (similar to... More

We arrived on the first day of Songkran and Convent Rd, where the lodge is situated, was closed off for the festivities. Of course we got very wet and had a lot of fun. The staff of the lodge where wonderful. Helpful and friendly. Swimming pool very nice too. We were upgraded from a twin room to a VIP room.... More

This is a gem of a hotel. The location is the best in Bangkok as it is near the night markets and entertainment. It is also near Sala Daeng skytrain station. 5th floor pool/terrace. choice of rooms/suites and staff very attentive. Bar restaurant of its own and the buffet breakfast very good. More

This hotel is a great location if you want to be right around the corner from hectic Patong. The added benefit is the access to the Skytrain which is also a block away. The hotel itself is very outdated and has that musky smell throughout. The rooms were not very clean, and again in need of some major renos. Breakfast... More

I chose this hotel because of its convenient location off Silom Road.It is looking a bit tired and they asked for a whopping 450Baht for Wifi use for every 24hours or 180Baht per hour.In a time when even Backpacker hostels give free Wifi ... When I asked for an area map I was told that it was for sale for... More

My first stay at Swiss Lodge and I thought it was great value. The staff, especially reception and concierge were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was simple but good (proper yoghurt and delicious omelettes). The location is good and I was able to get taxis very quickly to take me to my various destinations. I was in a standard room but... More

We were greeted with unfriendly service and told that as we'd booked Through Expedia rather than direct with the hOtel would need to pay a premium of what amounted to 25% of the room rate for wi fi and that we should have booked direct and not through Expedia! We reluctantly paid only to find that the wi fi was... More
