The hotel situated in a great location. A few minutes walk to the sky train and in the middle of Silom. It is a pretty old hotel, needs to renovate. The daytime front office staff were very nice but a male nighttime front office receptionist was not friendly and rude.

Stayed at the Swiss lodge on a business trip to bangkok. This hotel is a few minutes walk from the night life - a.k.a, the Patpong street. Also has good connectivity via the local metro trains. The rooms are quite comfortable and has all the amenities that are expected. The food is quite decent and the staff are extremely friendly.... More

There should be a rating star between ¨average¨ and ¨very good¨ because this hotel falls into that category. The rooms are very clean, although the windows in my room had lots of greasy hand prints. Also they are carpeted which I don't like. The ¨mini bar¨ contains all the usual over-priced stuff. The pool is very small, great for kids... More

This year I have stayed here for 3 times already, in April, May then August. I didn't make a review of my stay in May because Tripadvisor allows you to review the same place after 3 months, but as usual it was also a nice and comfortable stay. This time in mid-August, I needed to spend a weekend stay-cation for... More

The Swiss Lodge is a mid-range hotel with tier 1 service levels. It is well-run and clean. Above all, it has a personality based on it's committment to high service levels , and looking after the small details. Over the years visiting Bangkok, I have stayed at the Swiss Lodge and never have been dissapointed. Living in Bangkok now, I... More

Good service overall in a great location especially for gay travelers as there are gay restaurants and bars across the road, and big shoppers as there are shopping centers nearby. Would recommend to friends across the world. Maybe paint the swimming pool area and redo the paving around it.

Stayed here 3 times and always it was charming and clean! Great location, close to the skytrain and tube, so you can go everywhere easily. Right in the heart of the tourist area but very quiet inside. Staff is more than friendly. Breakfast is very good. Hotel has various sized rooms and a pool and sun terrace on the fifth... More

Standard hotel room - very similar to low cost Hampton type hotels - motels in US. Everything worked - adequate wifi - great breakfast - either from small buffet or eggs by order. Restaurant was very good. Service was excellent. Lots of things to do and restaurants in the imediate vicintity - very close to rail service. Street food and... More
