This hotel is in a great location is well managed and has some very good features and a nice breakfast...but its a little old and run down. The rooms are nice and of a nice size. BTS and MRT very close lots a good cheap food... and Terminal 21 and other more up market restaurants....plus entertainment and plenty of it... More

I am currently staying in Taipan Hotel. Location is fantastic, about 3 mins walk to Asoke BTS and Terminal 21.it is also 2 mins walk to Soi Cowboy.Although the hotel looks old on the outside, the room is clean and spacious. Breakfast is average. Wifi connectivity is not so good; tends to cut off intermittently.

The Tai Pan hotel is a good choice if you wish to stay in Sukhumvit in Bangkok. The rooms are clean but can use a fresh coat of paint on the walls. Everything works and the staff is friendly and efficient. The restaurant food is good, but better and cheaper food can be found in nearby areas.

This is not the first time I have stayed at the Tai-Pan and it won't be my last. I've stayed solo and with my family. The rooms are big. The windows are floor to ceiling. The beds are comfortable. the air conditioning can be adjusted. The mini bar includes drinks and snacks. The bathroom has a bathtub and there is... More

Great location close to shopping. Breakfast excellent. Lots to choose from. Staff very helpful. Room spacious and clean. Nightlife close by however the hotel itself was quiet. Pool was very good and very clean. Would stay again.

Thailand is known for Asian hospitality specially on deluxe property !! I had stayed in this hotel for a night which was good choice. The staffs were friendly and rooms are quite big with good amenities. Bed and bathroom are quite clean and main thing is this hotel is centrally located near the BTS.

This was a last minute budget trip for a weekend shopping trip to bangkok. Hotel is relatively close to the MRT and Asoke station (more below) Rooms are dated, they do not provide toothbrush/paste, shaving kit, comb etc but can be bought with a call to housekeeping. Slippers are not provided as well so be prepared to walk around barefooted... More

We have visited Bangkok quite a few times now and find Tai Pan a very good hotel, Location, value, size of rooms, quietness, service, breakfast all excellent. The beds are by far the hardest I have ever slept on until we asked for the mattress topper, which made a huge difference. I know Asian people like hard beds, but we thought... More
