I am not sure whether its a 3-Star+ or 4-Star Hotel but I would highly recommend and rate it a 4-Star+ Hotel because of its Service, facilities & the really nice, friendly Staff. I made reservations for this Hotel for 4 Nights from my Home Country with the help of maps because of its location on Sukhumvit Road as I needed... more

I stayed at this sophisticated and dignified hotel with my husband and three daughters in July 2007. It is a very posh hotel established on Soi 23 of Sukhumvit Road, right next to the infamous Soi Cowboy. It was 5 minutes walk away from the Sukhmvit station of the underground transport, if you take the shortcut. All said and done... more

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights recently and enjoyed our stay very much. All staff were very good and helpful. Location is great - close to BTS which is a great way to see the city. Close also to strip joints in Soi Cowboy if that is your thing. We had breakfast here nearly every morning -... more

We spent a week at the Tai-Pan using it as our head quarters for sight seeing trips around the city. It is with a couple of blocks of the Sky Train and the Metro Subway thus covering most of the city. If you are into the night life, it is a block from the partying "Cowboy Street." Yet, it is... more

I got stuck in Bangkok unexpectedly when the airport shut and one night turned into a week. I could have moved on but decided to stay as this is a pretty good hotel. The n/s room on the 6th floor was clean, spacious, comfortable and free views across Bangkok. Staff were friendly. The best thing about the hotel is its... more

Stayed for two nights, everything in room fine. Good location! Only thing was, phone call to the room inviting you to meet for a chat about holiday plans. I think it was a time share pitch! more

I have stayed at the Tai-Pan already a couple of times in recent years, and I have never regretted it. My current stay was booked via Latestays.com for around 45 Euros, which included breakfast and all taxes. It is a very reasonable price considering the excellent location near Skytrain (BTS) and subway (MRT) and considering the large rooms they offer.... more

I stayed here for 5 nights early August '08. It's a very good hotel & I'd happily stay there again. My room was on the 12th floor & was blessedly quiet. The location is very good, close to both skytrain & subway. You can easily get to most places a tourist would like to visit from here. The staff were... more
