First of all, on arriving at the hotel, I was told that there is no booking in my name inspite of the reservation having been made a couple of months in advance. It took around half an hour for the hotel staff to sort out the issue and provide a room for me. The rooms are big and maintained well.... More

My encounter with this large hotel in Makkasan area of Bangkok was with a group, more that 150 rooms, very centrally located, walking distance to Pratunam market approx 5min stroll, large lobby, not so friendly receptionists, bell boys are busy but helpful, room service crew very good, restaurant breakfast ok with a variety of rice noodles and other essentials, wheelchair... I traveled with my family and it was arranged with a travel agency,so we did not have the option to change the hotel. We stayed from 23rd December 15 to 26th December. Our rooms were at 8th floor. We never felt comfortable at the hotel but due to our tight schedule organised by the travel agent, all we wanted was... More

Stayed at this hotel and paid more to the agent for an upgraded room, but was so disappointed as we walked through the doors. Hotel appears as stunning in the advert but the stench of mould and stale smoke smacks you in the face as you open the doors. As you walk in the passages to you rooms the stench is... More

When we reached there we found old wooden type interior in the lobby. It was quite ok and loby seems to be very good. But when we entered in the room we found a poor maintained and low quality room in which even Airconditionar was also not working properly. In the age of Led they have CRT tvs in the... More

Terrible hotel. Very Old rooms and construction. Pathetic condition of the bathroom. Had to change the room at midnight because of too many mosquitoes in my room on the 8th Floor. Moreover, the TV was also not working and the hotel staff said that is the best they could provide. No bell boys to take luggage too. Cancelled my booking... More

We did stay here with all family. Family room did consist of two bedrooms. Quit and big enough. Breakfast was early and fine to eat. They have the pool on the one of the floors. We did love it specially at day hot hot time. And it's not very expensive

We stayed 6 nights in this hotel. Breakfast is ready by 6.00 am which is very convenient for the guests since most of the them want to go out early. Very close to Indra Square shopping center, Just 5 minutes walk. Lot of other shopping malls also very close , like Pratunam.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
