Caught the squashy llift up to the hotel lobby level to wait in line to check in. There are a lot of people hanging in the lobby area and it wasnt apparent initially where check in was as there was an area with what seemed like a hundred suitcases, like a suitcase shop. Found check in, they didnt have a... More

This is the fifth stay at the Baiyoke Sky and after reading recent reviews was concerned it was still a good choice. From previous visits had liked the location and as this trip was a quick three night stop over for shopping before going to an island resort decided that the location, surrounded by markets and convenient to major shopping... This is the lousiest hotel I ever stayed in Bangkok. Long waiting for lift(20min) just to go back or get out of the hotel. Unfriendly staff( they will not speak to u with eye contact at all). The room does not had any reception for 3G service ever if u purchased Thai SIM card. The bathroom drainage system always choke... More

Loved it , would definitely stay again, be aware lifts are busy early evening with tourists trying to get to 86th floor to photograph Bangkok at night so be patient. Rooms are comfortable, nice pool , great views, breakfast adequate , views stunning

we booked more than a month early and availed of the early bird rate from their website. we requested for a connecting room but when we arrived at the check in counter, they informed us that no connecting room is available! it was only at the sky zone where a connecting room is available. no one informed us upon booking... This is our 3rd or 4th stay at Baiyoke, and after our last stay, we did say we would not be back! Unfortunately, we were required to extend our trip to Bangkok and the lovely hotel we were in was booked out. In fact, all of our choices were booked as our extension was at very short notice (ie the... More

the only reason choosing this hotel is because of "the tallest hotel"-thing. so i decided to stay 1 night here. The room is spacious, but not in a good maintained. it's really old. the only plus point was the view from our room. we had a sky zone room and the view was really wonderful. we could see the city... We stayed here for 4 days when we were in Bangkok, and though the experience was not awful, but I would rather stay somewhere else on my next visit to Bangkok. The location was pretty good. It's walking distance to some good shopping places and a short cab ride to others. The rooms were pretty spacious, but they seemed really... More
