I was booked in here by someone else; so I have no idea if it was value for money; but it would have had to be very cheap for it to be of value. I left after one night. The room was huge with a marvellous view of the river; but the carpet was smelly and sticky. The water was... More

Despite the negative review, I decided to book this hotel because i wanted to avoid my rude colleague who was staying in the nearby hotel where the seminar was held. Surprisingly this hotel was really nice. I booked the partial river view room but as soon as I entered, I found my room was facing the river with a balcony.... More

This place is missing a 4 star rating because.......they gave us the wrong room for two days, then gave us "almost" the correct room. I think this place is lovely and it is not in the main tourist areas, which to me is a plus. It takes a 30 minute walk or a taxi to get back to the hordes... More

On entering this is a most impressive hotel, with splendid river views. However, this is where the compliments end. Our room was very basic for the price, and the television was antiquated. The hotel wi-fi had to be purchased by the hour and this was not communicated in the advertising. Breakfast was plentiful but lacking in quality with similar hotels... More

Arrived by river - hotel was in a great location for us. Quick check-in - absolutely huge suite - spotless. We had a fantastic view of the river and city for miles - it was impressive during the day but the brightly lit city at night in the distance was amazing. Hotel interior was fine. We only had breakfasts here... More

I just spent two days on business in Bangkok, the Hotel was recommended by my business contact. The rooms are very basic and poorly furnished. My telephone did not work and was not repaired. It was very noisy, at all times of night and day. I had chosen the second dearest room a superior deluxe, as I had read the comments... More

Location was impeccable, Chao Phraya River is just out the door. Food was amazing! They have Halal and vegetarian option. Rooms were fine but what impressed me most is the staff. They all look you in the eye and ask for what you need. Definitely a hotspot!

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days, as we needed access to the Yanhee Hospital, and it was convenient. We found the hotel quite good, the room seemed to have been updated recently, and had wonderful views over the river (superior deluxe) The staff didnt have good english, but the hotel mainly caters to tourist groups and business... We had a meeting nearby so the location was good for us but it might be out of the way for those seeking to do tours of the the city across the river. There is a boat that will take people to the hot spots although we didn't use it. Also , there is a drop off for the commuter... More

Booked a deluxe river view for four nights in January 2014. Ended up leaving after two nights as I just couldn't stomach staying there any more. Believe all the negative reviews - the hotel is outdated, out of the way, with unhelpful staff, most with little/no English, concierge who does dodgy fixed price deals with taxis, dirty rooms, mosquitoes hanging...
