I visited Banyan Tree with my husband and 5 years old daughter over the Christmas period We had been in Bangkok before and really liked it, so decided to treat ourselves this time, good rooms and food, uninviting freezing swimming pool, not enough sun loungers, nothing for children no even other children, my daughter was offered juice in Champaign flutes,... Spent one night at this hotel on the way home. Possibly the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Definitely recommend staying at a club room, the happy hour food and drink was amazing. Would definitley check out the rooftop bar but the restaurant is really overpriced and the food just above average. Excellent gym facility and beautiful rooms.

We stayed at the Banyan tree as part of our honeymoon trip and were not only treated to a bottle of wine on arrival but also a room upgrade :) From the moment we arrived the team bent over backwards to ensure we had a good time. The Conceirge, Ray, suggested good restaurants for us to dine at as well... More

My partner and I stayed here for two nights on our way through to Koh Samui. It was my first trip to Bangkok and, to be entirely honest, the pollution in this hectic city was a massive turn off for me. However, Banyan Tree was perfection! Beautiful, clean, spacious rooms, handy facilities and delicious meals. The breakfast buffet was amazing... More

Duration of stay 1st Feb 2013 till 4th Feb 2013. First time staying @Banyan Tree Bangkok. We had an early check in @11am upon our request. No hassle at all. Front desk & Concierge assisting us till we reach our room. The Deluxe room was huge with living area, Pantry , TV & work desk too. The bedroom with King... More

Was a regular hotel guest in Banyan Bangkok couple of years back and when I decided to revisit in Dec 2012, I was shocked. The cleanliness level had dropped - check out the oil burner near the guest lifts. Its unlit and looks messy. The rooms appear a little dirty and all the bathroom amenities have been cut by half.... Every time that I am in Bangkok, the Banyan Tree Bangkok is my first choice of hotel. This property is in an excellent location and has wonderful staff who are attentive and aim to please. Over the 4 months that i have travelled to Bangkok and stayed at The Banyan Tree, the service continues to be of a high standard.... More

Overall it was one of the best hotel experience I have had. SERVICE: all the staff were extremely helpful, attentive and professional. They spoke English very well and gave good advice and recommendations. LOCATION: situated off a main road, they offer airport transfer and taxi services. It is about a 15min walk from the nearest BTS station. ROOMS: the rooms... More

Excellent experience. Beautiful decoration, spacious and very comfortable rooms fully equipped and last but not least excellent food. The only complaint comes from a poor communication between reception and the restaurant.

Still one of the best hotels in Bangkok with excellent facilities. Club rooms are very good value with breakfast, evening canapes and drinks and snacks all day. Highly recommended. Don't bother getting the limo airport transfer for THB2700 when you can easily get a taxi for THB400.
