24-hour stay in Bangkok for a business meeting. Enjoyed breakfast at Romsai and dinner at Saffron. For outside nearby pubs, turn left on the main road outside of the hotel. Keep walking till pass Australian Embassy. Pubs to the left on the next turning.

We stayed in a one bed room suite for two nights at the start of our travels around Thailand. I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay at this hotel to pay the little extra for a suite. Upon arrival at 8 am (after 18 hours travel) we were whisked into the lift and taken up to a smaller more... More

We spent 2 days here before zooming off to see friends. What a wonderful hotel. The staff were friendly & exceptionally helpful. The room was comfortable and the facilities were great. There is a lovely little coffee shop open week days that do a nice range of snacks & drinks. The bar & rooftop restaurant, although a little pricey, were... More

Staying in the suite really was amazing. We have our own lounge and the food is excellent. As for location, its 10 mins walk to the sky-train but we got the tuktuks which we loved. We would definitely go back.

I would say that overall the Banyan Tree was a lovely place to stay if you plan to be out and about visiting the city however if you are planning to spend a lot of time in the hotel I would perhaps explore one that has a few more exciting facilities. The drive from the airport is perhaps about 30-40... More

I can't really fault the Banyan Tree. We were upgraded to a suite room, and my goodness, it was bigger than my flat. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom simply amazing. I can highly recommend doing the whole 'club lounge' thing. We made full use of this, having breakfast and high tea at the club floor. The staff are... More

We stayed here for 6 nights, hotel very trendy with great bars and restaurants. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful especially in the club lounge. Hotel is a short taxi ride from the centre where all the shops and restaurants are and the taxi are extremely cheap.

We were on the 48th floor and the room was absolutely fantastic in fact it was a suite! The view was incredible from our room but if you went up to the Moon Bar it was breathtaking. The food in the several restaurants was really good but eating in the Vertigo restaurant was something else. Their attention to detail was... More

We stayed in the Serenity King Club room and couldn't have been more happy. We were located on 56th floor of the hotel and had amazing views of the city. These rooms were recently updated and we were very happy with the overall aesthetic of the space. Service at all outlets of the property was top notch. We highly recommend... More

Staying in Sathorn

Neighborhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
