The hotel is very nice and very well decorated. When you get in, you disconect completely from the busy Bangkok. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The rooms are very spacious, beautiful, cleaned, equiped, etc. They also have a bar which I recommend for cocktails. To move from there You can ask for a taxi in the... More

This was a really good stay in Bangkok, the staff goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The concierge takes very good care of you and makes sure the things you asked are arranged perfectly. The breakfast is elaborate and really tasty.

Stayed 2 nights in Jan in the garden suite and the room is amazingly great, with beautifully decorated room and a garden view balcony, feel so relaxing and would love to stay in the room longer and don't want to leave. We spent our nights chatting with the other couple in the dinning area, we had a great time there.... More

Love this hotel! It's an oasis in the heart of a chaotic city. I love the energy of Bangkok, but you've also gotta have a way to escape it for a few hours. This hotel has comfy rooms, great staff, excellent gym, yummy breakfast, quiet pool. All at reasonable prices. You can stay at "the usual suspects", but if you... More

My partner and I stayed for two nights at the end of our recent Thailand trip. This hotel is in a great location close to Lumpini underground station and in the middle of the CBD. The rooms are nice and big, great buffet breakfast, lovely outdoor pool & very friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely recommend.

From the atmosphere. The rooms. The staff. This hotel is nothing short of exemplary to other hotels. I would recommend for couples over family due to the peaceful and serene nature of the resort. The rooms were spotless. Full toiletries provided. In room tea and coffee with TGW tea, a nice addition to the room. The view we had was... More

Being such a storied Bangkok institution, you would expect the Sukhothai to lose its substance and relevance after years of being in the pinnacle and being once the gold standard for Thai hospitality, but thankfully, after staying here recently, I can truly say that it is still a perfect place to encapsulate all the good things and memories you would... This hotel is a luxury in the middle of Bangkok. Quiet although it is close to an avenue. Comfortable, large and clean room. Nice swimming pool and pool side bar. Very nice breakfast buffet with variety and quality. The staff is great. Helpful and aways willing to help.

The hotel is lovely. There's a long driveway before you get to hotel lobby and you feel as though you are not in the buzz of the city. The hotel has a vast grounds with ponds and gardens. Staying in Sathorn

Neighborhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
