Fantastic service, great views right by the river. Amenities are excellent with spa facilities. Be careful of cab drivers trying to rip you off if you want to get there from the airport or anywhere else.

A great hotel on the quieter side of the river, the regular host trips to Sathorn pier mean that both the Skytrain system and Asiatique are easily reached. But being stuck in the hotel would also be no hardship; friendly staff and good food, a fun pool and great views of the still working and still worked river, particularly from... More

The view from my room of the city and river is a sight I will never forget, but the comfort, good food and beautiful terrace for breakfast are all very memorable. The bathroom in particular was perfectly designed, with every article one could possibly need ready to be used, just perfect.

The Peninsula is a 90's version of a Grand Hotel. It sits solitary on the other shore of the river and contemplates the high rise. It's converted rice barges transport you elegantly across. The public areas are well maintained and robust. The swimming pool area is a dream. The rooms/suites are very spacious, extremely well equipped and offer outstanding views.... More

All I will say that as someone who works in the hotel industry you really can not fault this hotel. Most importantly warm, attentive and very friendly employees, immaculately kept hotel and very comfortable room. A benchmark for all other hotels that are up and coming in the Bangkok. Will be back.

City break for my 40th birthday, over the last 10 years this is the third time that we have stayed at the peninsula, this is our first choice when ever we are in Bangkok. The rooms are a little dated now but do not let this put you off as it adds to the charm, a grand traditional hotel with... More

It's still a magical hotel. Facing the city with a special secret Arrive by boat...... Get the hotel to give you the address for the taxi to drop you off at the Peninsula Pier. A truly great way to arrive. One gets to see the hotel as the architect meant, across the Chaopraya The white uniformed staff are just too... More

We have stayed here in November 2013 and till this day, we still remember vividly the service flaws that we have encountered at this particular hotel. My partner booked this hotel to celebrate my birthday and tried to liaise with the guest relations team but they were always tardy with their response. They took more than a few days to... More

I am one of those fortunate people who have stayed in several luxury hotels all over the world (thanks to my affiliations) and I can honestly say that this hotel is my favorite hotel. Why? Well, 5-star hotels are quite similar to a certain extent. Comfortable beds, wonderful bathrooms, great location, etc. But what sets the Peninsula Bangkok apart from... More

It was hard to choose hotel located around the river, but peninsula was excellent choice. This hotel has terribly beautiful outdoor pool and breakfast including mango, lovely suttle boat and was especially nice. Popular tourist areas such as Khaosan road, Grand place were not far from this hotel, so we didn't have any inconvenience during our stay. I enjoyed my... More
