This is an amazing hotel, 5-star luxury with a personal touch. The room was large and well designed, with a huge ensuite and all the amenities you can dream of and then some. Great view on the river. We had an evening meal on the ground floor with a piano player soothing our ears and both were quite good. Breakfast... More

H and I stayed for 4 nights and as it is usual with most hotels in Bangkok, I have nothing but praises for the staff. The rooms are well-maintained, the shower and bath tap pressures are fantastic and the room amenities are sufficient. The daily breakfast buffet had such a wide variety of food that although repetitive kept me amused... More

Quick recap - Unlike the Mandarin Oriental, the Peninsula understands how to properly treat their guests. For example they do not require men to be uncomfortable, wearing long pants when it's 90 degrees with 90% humidity. As long as you are dressed smart, with smart shorts and collared shirt, you can enjoy their wonderful dinner by the river. At the... More

This is a great hotel. We were met efficiently at the airport and checked in in our room. We had taken a corner suite with an adjoining room. One of the benefits of this is that both rooms lead off their own corridor with a further door at the end of the corridor so you can leave the doors to... More

We go at least once a year to Bangkok and usually stay at Mandarin Oriental, but have also been to Peninsula several times. In March 2014, we have chosen the Peninsular and have stayed in a balcony room. The arrival was like always very nice and we have been brought to the room directly to do the checkin there. The... For us the 'Pen' is the best hotel in the world. We keep trying others but none can match the elegant surroundings, discrete service and outstanding staff. We arrived without our luggage (for the second year on the trot courtesy of Emirates!). The staff were fantastic, not only supplying toiletries but chasing up our totally uncommunicative airline. We were kept... More

As the Peninsula Hotels are the best hotels worldwide, I always wanted to stay at one of them for long time. This was a memorable stay with my family. The Deluxe Rooms given to us were in the corner and had the best view as well as connectivity. We stayed three nights and felt just like at home. The Service... More

We stayed on route to Thailand, the Hotel was just simply amazing, as a very opinionated fussy traveller, I could not find or fault one thing wrong. The rooms are outstanding (request higher level) we were on 33, we had lunch at the pool, and spent a few hours on the sun beds which was amazing. We also hired a... More
