The rooms are super clean and very spacious and the high floors are super quiet. Great location as well. Only thing I advice is spray your room for mosquito because sometimes they will feast on you. I was happy with everything about the hotel but what really made my stay even better is the support of the GM to my... More

I have stayed here many times. Its an older hotel and very grand in its appearance. I have always found the staff to be helpful and very friendly. The hotel has a grand style to match its name. It is very refreshing from the bland appearance of the main chain hotels. The rooms are dated but do have a certain... More

If you are looking for a good location, friendly staff value for money then you cannot go wrong to stay here. I can honestly say I have never found the internet slow, we always stay in a Club Room and it's excellent! The hotel is having some refurbishment in the one tower and yes some of the rooms I admit... Have just returned from another stay at this hotel and excellent service as always. We were remembered by many of the staff including our coffee orders in the cafe - nice touch :) Breakfast was great as always, room clean and comfortable. Gym is well equipped. Was unfortunate it was booked out when we returned from Samui for last night,... More

This hotel is quite old but they have refurbished most of the room. The bathrooms are still very dated and tired with a very old jacuzzi bath that has seen better days. There are lots of older style power sockets around the room that don't work. The air conditioning does work very well In the rooms which is needed with... More

This place is a haven of peace and ever-attentive service. The staff are excellent, the gym and pools (yes, there are 2 of them) right up to standard and the beautiful peaceful Queen's Park just outside the back entrance. Lots of good eating places within walking distance. The Foyer is an amazing example of Thai architecture and craftsmanship and should... More

Great location, with well maintained hotel. Clean, well kept lobby with friendly check in staff. Good choice of food options with lovely lobby shop and a restaurant with a wide choice available on the menu. Rooms are large and spacious and housekeeping respect the DND signs and quiet. No shouting down corridors here! Well worth a visit. Will stay again.

Grand hotel with a lot of local elements in its interior and is in a very convenient location for both business and leisure. Features spacious rooms at a reasonable price but some may find the rooms in need of refurbishing. There is easy access to the local malls and eateries, as well as the local transport system.

Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2014 on business. Expected the exterior to be really old but what welcomed us was a different story. The hotel looked really majestic from outside and it had a great big open lobby with nods to the Thai culture. Check in was quick and we got a room on the 31st floor. View... More
