This is perhaps the largest hotel I have ever stayed. The compound is very big with multiple towers and sometimes guests are ought to be confused. Location is awesome, very near the BTS station Phrom Phong BTS station. Also, the Seafood Market is just one ally apart. The Breakfast could have been better with some more continental/ sub-continental foods but... More

We were in Bangkok for a conference and booked this recommended hotel. The hotel location is in the centre of the city, with good transport links. This is a huge hotel and buffet service was also quite good. The hotel also offers Halal meals, which was quite welcome.

I have been travelling to Bangkok on business on and off for 24 years. Unfortunately I do not have a choice of where I stay as the company I work for has a contract with this hotel. The general standard of accommodation at this supposed 4 star level is usually very good in Bangkok, but this hotel falls way below... More

This hotel was booked for me for a business trip and I was a bit put off by some of the reviews on this site. My experience was very positive - the staff were excellent and very helpful, the breakfast was good with a wide range of buffet items and the pool was lovely. My room was spotlessly clean, well-equipped... More

The good points: the location is excellent, next to the park in the middle of everything, with Emporium shopping centre next door. The gym also looked large and nice, even though I had no opportunity to use it. Breakfast and lunch offer a large variety of meals, not top quality but not bad either. The one thing that really put... More

It been a while since I had been in Bangkok. I have stayed at various hotels in the past including the Queen's Park. This is a huge hotel (over 1200 rooms) situated on Sukhumvit, close to shopping, restaurants and public transport. Lots of tourists and business people. On the positive the breakfast buffet is quite good although comparable to other... More

Every member of staff you meet in this hotel wants to say hello. Smiling faces greet you on every corner. The lobby of the hotel gives an air of grandeur however once you get to the rooms you will be sorely disappointed. The are drab and need updating. My female colleagues complained that the bathrooms were too dark to apply... More

The hotel is an old one, not well maintained and you can notice that easily, staff are helpful. They offered us the wrong room and their excuse was that they are booked, after short friendly arguement, they changed the room. Smoking floors and rooms are stinky. Wouldnt be keen to come back here.

We stayed in this hotel for around 3 weeks all up while in Thailand and was very happy. It is an older style hotel but the rooms are clean and have all you need, buffet breakfast had variety (and buffet dinner was great, with discount for guests of the hotel) . Gym and pools were also good with no issues... More
