I am a regular traveller to bangkok and have stayed at this hotel on and off over the last 12 years . It was love at first site , I was madly in love with the place until the So Sofitel came along across the road and a change of GM at the metropolitan soured my relationship around the time... More

One of the best hotels I stayed in. Allow early checked in, free upgrade with excellent customer service and best of all, the complimentary yoga classes and hydro pool. However, to be back again - it is indeed a real dilemma - without a BTS in sight or within walking distance, could be challenging to venture around freely for a... More

The Metropolitan Room is an excellent size, much like a junior suite. Has a living room area and king bed that is larger than normal. Very well fitted out and looking quite fresh and minimal. As a disabled traveler, we used the wheelchair accessible room. Doesnt quite meet international standards. But it was workable. Lots of space. The only issues... More

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The room was big, huge bed, lovely furnitures and decorations. Also, the room was super clean!!! The best breakfast i had in Thailand, you have basic buffet , and you order the main course from a menu. It was a hard decision because everything from the menu look amazing. I dont know... More

The hotel staff was fantastic very helpful. The lobby small and slightly worn, there were two places to eat. The cafe hours were terrible and closed in the afternoon. The hotel was supposedly full. The restaurant was nothing special in look or food yet snobby - made my son change to long pants. The rooms were clean, the beds extremely... More

From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with exceptional service. We stayed for 9 nights, left the city for several days, then returned to the Como for another 4 nights. Upon our return, they booked us back into the same room, even though it would have been an upgrade. We also checked luggage while we were away, and... More

Very centrally located - but far from noisy street - modern hotel with very nice design, totally minimalistic style. Rooms are large, with very comfortable beds and huge bathrooms. A long swimming pool if you a need a bit of rest after visiting or working and delicious restaurant (Nahm) on the ground floor !

We had a fabulous stay here, the hotel is beautiful, an absolute oasis of calm in a busy city. If you like minimalist modern decor then you will love it. The service and staff are fantastic, Nahm restaurant is a must visit and the comp. morning and evening yoga classes are a great touch as are the healthy breakfast options.... More

The Hotel is Understated, aesthetically pleasing , and offers a sense of tranquility. The moment you turn in to the quiet driveway, there is a feeling of calm and quiet, away from the Buzz of a busy city. The Lobby is contemporary and has a pleasing quiet environment The rooms are spacious but slightly bare. Love the Como bath products... More

Was booked for 1 night and only realised that our agent had booked the wrong date in error During check in. Was a little annoyed that the hotel requested I contact my agent directly in the UK considering we had travelled from Krabi, got stuck in a load of traffic and also had a reservation at a restaurant we had... Staying in Sathorn

Neighborhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
