I stayed here in the mistaken belief that it would be good value. Its not. It is old, outdated and is severey overstaffed. The aircon in the lobby smells of mould and something wet, the rooms are so old that they have a real key and you get a carbon slip with your signature that you have to hand over... more

We recently stayed at the Montien Bangkok Hotel and will say in all honesty the service given was exceptional. The food acceptable and the level of cleanliness high. This Hotel is right at the head of the infamous Pat Pong Rd. Good location if your into the nighlife and bar scene and a short Tuk Tuk ride to the Palace. Hotel is well appointed with friendly staff that speak excellent english. Good nightly entertainment in the lobby and the breakfasts are unbeatable. more

great location, very good value, all amenities, but above all excellent service. The hotel management needs to be applauded for a continuous job well done. We visit this hotel since a number of years and find no slack in friendliness of the staff, courtesy and competence. Only the restaurants would merit from a brushup. more

Just returned from a seven day stay at the Montien. It was my second time staying at the hotel. The Montien offers terrific value and the rooms are spotless and very nicely furnished. Breakfast was excellent. Employees were most helpful and pleasant. Location is fantastic, close to everything including the night market, the subway, and the sky train. more

We stayed here for 4 nights and i cannot see what anyone has to moan about, its clean, well equiped and in a good location being 2 mins across the road from Pat Pong, the a/c worked fine there was cable TV the rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were friendly and helpful more
