Absolutely loved my stay here, was going to stay for 3nights but i made it a week as it was friendly, comfortable with excellent service.Served me a beautiful meal at 3.30a.m!! Nice hot showers, clean sheets and a view over the huge river, full of barges and industrial ships, its not the prettiest river. Very quiet and peaceful. great luxury... more

This hotel featured good facilities, and nice, spacious, well appointed rooms. I was also grateful that all my requests (river view, high floor etc.) were granted. On the other hand my hopes of affordable luxury were not quite realized with Montien Riverside. If you are after a river view for example, you might be disappointed by the semi industrial outlook... more

We booked this hotel through Gate 1 Travel along with the transfer from the airport – ($28USD each person). The person that met us at the airport then escorted us to the front desk and waited while we got checked in. This was at 11:30pm and after flying all day and night it was kind of nice to have to... more

We stayed at the Montien for only 3 days but wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is very smart, clean and the staff friendly and efficient. We had a room with a riverside view which was lovely. We only had breakfast at the hotel and it was plentiful and varied. The hotel is some distance from the centre... more

I have to say I loved my stay at the Montien Riverside! The staff is ever so friendly and the free shuttle to the city great. The lobby is huge, impressive and decorative and the lobby bar is a good place to rest your tired feet. The breakfast has so much variety, I never had a chance to taste all... more

Hotel is definitely 5 star, fantastic breakfast and room, and a great swimming pool /sauna etc overlooking river. It was really cheap for what it offerred. Wouldn't find this quality / space at this price downtown. Only downside, it is a little remote from centre - but this was easily compensated for by regular free shuttle service to sister hotel... more

This hotel may have been a 5 star hotel in the past but it is a 3 star hotel now. I was immediately suspicious when I saw the worn carpets and noticed the “old, rundown hotel” smell. Since I paid for an upgrade to a deluxe room I assumed I was in a better part of the hotel. I specified... more

The Montien Hotel Riverside in Bangkok is a nice hotel for a 3-4 star outfit. My wife and I stayed in a two bed standard room. I was going to request a change to a one king size bed, but the room was spacious and we actually fit quite comfortably in one bed,...my wife and I are small 5'8" and... more

We loved our stay here. The palatial entrance hall, the comfortable rooms and fine room service, the four restaurants, the courteous staff, the free shuttle ride into the city all made this an ideal base from which to explore the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Note that there are two Montien hotels, one in the city and one at the... more

We only stayed at the Montien for a few nights but were amazed with the hotel! The enterance was extravagent and really added to the 5star experience! The rooms are spacious and very clean. Room service was free of charge and we made use of that the first night. The hotel has a pool and a Spa. There are restaurants... more
