We stayed at the Grand China Princess for 7 days. Bus stop right outside hotel door that takes you to MBK, Siam Paragon, etc. Air-conditioned bus costs about 50 cents, old but clean, and gets you to shopping area in about 20 mins. October is a nice time to go, not too hot nor humid. Buffet breakfast included at hotel,... more

The Grand China Princess is a very clean and friendly hotel. However, the concierge and others working at the hotel all have connections with different business's (ie, travel agents and tailors) so be wary because their prices are quite high and i would assume the hotel staff get commissions because of this. The internet in the lobby is also very... more

Hotel rooms are clean, modern and quiet. Rooms on higher floors have an excellent view of Bangkok. Area around hotel is a great place to explore. This area of China Town has interesting food and shops. A short taxi ride to many tourist sites. Breakfast is quite nice - perhaps the best I have seen lately. A huge variety of... more

Arrived after a lengthy stay at a resort in Phuket so this felt like a reality check. Arriving at the hotel, I had prepared a tip for the driver but dropped this on the ground without noticing. My partner, however, saw the concierge picking something up off the ground where I exited the car and then approaching me. The man... more

Good Hotel in the madness that is China Town Bangkok. Clean & well appointed. Sky pool was a let down though for the kids. Excellent restaurants. more

In the heart of Chinatown, close to the train station. We ordered room for 2+1 (sleep together with younger daughter) and received additional bed for infant without paying additional money. Very spacious rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. Highly recommended. more

I had stayed at the hotel before and it was good enough to choose to come back to. The breakfast is nice, the rooms clean and comfortable (although this time we only had a shower, and I prefer a bath, but I didnt specifically request one). I like the pool on the roof. Someone here said it had a breeze,... more

The best aspect of this hotel is the helpful staff. The rooms look acceptably clean, although we had one major issue which I'll get to. The worst problem is its location in Chinatown, and the traffic is always happened. more
