It was hard to get to and find but once I asked a hotel staff member we got to the top. It's cool that the bar / restaurant revolves. I went up there to take photos and my mate had a beer (180 baht for a Chang draught). The windows could do with a clean. But there was only 2... More

Our room was ok however the air con didn't work. Didn't really matter as out all day. Still the black grime in the bathroom tiles. Breakfast was average. Staff were really helpful and look after us during our stay. Good location and river cruise which the hotel arranged was excellent.

First visited the property close to 2 decades ago when they first started business. And revisited today, still a gem. I think being in Chinatown it brings most Mandarin speaking tourists closer together, with the staff a lil more down to earth and helpful than anywhere else in Bangkok. The hotel has also been renamed Grand China, without the "Princess".... More

I stayed here 30 July 2015 for two nights, the mattress was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor, receptionish was useless, she was so rude and said if we wanted to change rooms we have to upgrade and pay more. It didn't bother her we had paid for somewhere to sleep and the mattress was not fit... More

What a wonderful hotel. The staff are lovely, the rooms are clean, the bed was very comfortable. We flew in from Phuket, where I had been bitten by sea lice. Turns out I'm allergic to sea lice bites. The staff at this hotel called a doctor for me, reassured me he was very nice. When the doctor had written up... More

We went on a deal for cocktails and food. On the whole it was just a weird experience. They played strange kitsch music whilst serving disgustingly sweet cocktails. The food was over priced and when it arrived it was obvious that it wasn't cooked from fresh. The only positive we found was the view of Bangkok which is the whole... More

We stay at Grand China hotel in 2 nights last June. This was the first time we chose to stay in China Town, and we are glad that the hotel was an ok choice. Staff is friendly. We booked a family suit with breakfast. The hotel is quite old, but it has been recently renovated, so the interiors are good.... More

This is a great location for shopping in Chinatown markets and I have been staying here for years . It is very disappointinf that they have spent a lot of money renovating the exterior and foyer BUT they have failed to renovate and update rooms . The breakfast / butter lunch and dinner room has not been renovated in many... More

I stay here quite often and it is one of my favorite hotels in Bangkok. I was upgraded to a bigger room this trip. The room was large, had a huge walk in robe and a full size bath. Room was clean and I had no smell as a previous reviewer stated, Air con worked well and room was quiet.... More
