I went there with my husband. Lots of people were in the hotel. That's the first reason which can guarantee that this hotel is good. More impress while we were waiting for check in, the gentleman who (i think) is a front director come and assist us so we dont need to wait for anything. Then he took us to... More

Service, food, location, cleanliness all top notch! My only observations for improvement are the room lacked a full length mirror and the shower head was positioned at waist height instead of above head height! Lumpini park is situated opposite the hotel which is refreshing break from the hustle & bustle of the city. Patong is a 5 minute walk away.

I've stayed at better properties (it's pretty much beyond dispute that in Bangkok the Peninsula and the Shangri-La, for example, have nicer facilities), but the Dusit Thani is plenty good and it beats them both in warmth of staff -- and, arguably, location, right at Lumphini Park, next to the Skytrain and subway, etc. I won't even bother looking for... I spent four nights at the Dusit Thani. I went with my husband in our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. The staf was extremely helpful and polite. We had reservations for a superior room, but since we were "just married" the hotel imediately upgraded us to a suit. The suit was wonderful, everything was in order. The facilities were... More

A week here over Christmas was heavenly. The hotel is excellent and with 8 restaurants you don't even have to brave the traffic to venture out at dinnertime - the one draw-back is that it is located a little far from the action. The room itself was average, but the public areas were all beautiful, and the staff delightful. Highlight... More

As is typical throughout Thailand, the service and the people are beautiful and gracious to their foreign guests. Yes, the hotel is older than some, but it is well maintained and with a great location. Room was very nice, stayed on club level and enjoyed the service. But the best part had to be the Thai restaurant on-site. Wow. The... More

We made the choice to stay at the Dusit Thani Hotel based on personal recommendations as well as TripAdvisor reviews. I made my reservation via the Dusit's web site - first signing up for their guest programme and then making a booking. I opted for one of the club room types as that included free breakfast which we felt alone... More

Spent one night in this hotel - January 2nd. The only good thing is location - close to malls and the infamous, but seedy Patpong. The hotel itself is around 30 years old and looks it. Avoid if possible.
