Stayed for 4 nights at this hotel with my family on our holiday to Thailand and it was thumbs up for every aspect of the hotel. Fabulous location, right opposite Lumphini park, next to the Skytrain which was so incredibly easy and cheap to use compared to transport in the UK! and on the Silom Rd for nice evening markets.... Just back from a Business trip to Bangkok and had stayed here for 3 days. I had a standard room booked and when I went in, the hotel was over-booked and I was upgraded to a deluxe room...and I did not complain ;-). The hotel had at least half a dozen restaurants and I tried a couple of them. Great... More

Booked the Princess Suite for two night, for a stop over in Bangkok on our way back from Phuket. We had problems with the pick up having asked 3 times to confirm it, but the staff managed to resolve the issue with us in the end. The suite was very nice, spacious clean, not a great view but it didnt... More

The Dusit Thani has so much class and I consider in the top 3 of hotels in Bangkok. The reception rooms are beautiful and the cuisine excellent. The block where the lowest rate bedrooms are not so swish, but are still very good value with lots of space - a rare thing in such a crowded city. The position is... More

You've just seen a cheap deal for the Dusit Thani hotel right? You're thinking, "Wow, that's cheap for a 5 star hotel". There is a reason for that. You won't get a proper room, but one of the decrepit, old rooms round the back. They even have a separate reception area for them. I just checked in - the first... More

I have stayed here many times, if you get a good price for a Club room its well worth staying here. Beware of the old rooms in the old building they are really poor. I like the location its close to both BTS and MRT and lumpini park is just 2 minutes away. Staff is not really 100% be sure... More

I stay at the Dusit quite often when I go to Bangkok and it is always a nice stay. The locations is fantastic, so close to skytrain and Lumpini Park and for the gays it is super close to DJ Station etc. The public areas of the hotel are beautiful and very grand but the rooms could do with a... The rooms are very very small, old and dirty. The lobby, restaurant and amenities are very spacious and grand. The staff is helpful but overall the hotel is extremely overpriced and try to upsell you at every opportunity which is unfortunate if a guest is already paying $200 +++ for the room. We had a much better stay at Chatrium... More
