This is a good hotel, especially for business, but it's not in a great part of town unless you want to visit fake Irish pubs and similar bars when you're not working. Getting anywhere else takes time. Service was as good as you would expect from a Marriott, it was immaculately clean, the staff were courteous and looked after you... More

We stayed there last Thursday 17/4. Great hotel but: The staff does not listen. Despite a great sat ice at the concierge desk, the front desk sent us to the wrong airport even if we showed them our booking and told them where we where going. We nearly missed our flight as we had to catch another taxi to go... More

This hotel is the best among the different marriotts I have stayed: JW and Phuket Beach Club, Singapore, it even makes Cebu Marriott so un-Marriott! We got two rooms, one room was the regular room, while I got the corner room. Nice beds, very soft pillows (sometimes too soft but that's a personal opinion). Adequate airconditioning, good bathroom. The bed... More

Very nice room, very nice service, friendly people, good location... Definitely worth the 5stars, and the price is very democratic. Good restaurants, great pool... Not a single thing to complain about! Just be careful: there's 2 Mariotts in Bangkok, so make sure to always show the address when taking a cap ;)

A three day stay in Bangkok was part of our 22 day Far East Stay in March 2014 which included Beijing, Hong Kong, Koh Samui, Thailand and Bangkok. Due to the ongoing political upheaval in Bangkok, I had thought of cancelliing this part of our trip but my wife counceled patience and I'm glad I listened. The anti-government demonstrators camped... More

Quick recap - Their executive lounge is much more like a Ritz Carlton club lounge than a Marriott executive lounge. They always have 2-3 people at the desk to handle all reception and concierge needs, and every single member of their team is as friendly, helpful and competent as they could possibly be. Then the lounge itself has a chef... More

JW is in a great location, near shopping, skytrain, etc. The concierge lounge for "frequent sleepers" is the best I've found. In addition to a very nice breakfast, they offer an open bar and evening "snacks" that equal a lite dinner.

Having changed hotels from the Sofitel to the JW Marriott it is a tough act to follow . The JW Marriott is great with out the fine touches of the Sofitel . There is a lack of the attention to detail and the extra finer touches that make a stay special . The roof top bar is chic and fun... More

It's a great hotel that you'll find in the live area. Not stuffed away between only other hotels. The food is great, the staff is super friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. Just a 2 minute walk from BTS station Nana. Loved being her! Try to get a room on the top floors for a fantastic view.
