We stayed at this hotel for 3nights last April when it was the Marriott Resort. It was absolutely fantastic and really made my first trip to Bangkok memorable. Having not been to the city before I was unsure as to what to expect but this hotel blew we away with the ambience and the sense of being in a calming... More

Great hotel with excellent out door dining and pool area . Greeted with a cool towel and welcoming smiles this hotel knows how to treat the weary traveller. Hotel rooms a re very nice maybe not 5 star but worth the money. Highly recommend More

Back in the old days we used to do package trips from Hong Kong to other parts of Asia. These invariably put you up in posh hotels. Due to that we stayed here twice when it was the Marriot Riverside and we loved it. This time we stayed one night as a special treat. We don't normally fork out for... More

The change from Marriott to Anantara has seemed to improve the hotel from a chain to something much more personal. We found the staff to be excellent throughout. From our arrival at an inconvenient 1am where we were met with cool towels and an upgraded room to junior suite all the way through to a relaxed departure with late room... More

The resort location is amazing, however it's on the river, which is lovely and there's a daily free ferry service every 30 mins from the hotel to the central pier in Bangkok. Hotel rooms are good, not amazing considering it's 5 star. All of the food and drinks are very expensive here, as I guess you expect in a 5... More

Me and my wife stayed at anantara riverside spa & resort 19-26 of january. We booked deluxe premier seaview room and it was worth every penny. We asked to see also normal deluxe room and the different was huge on the favor of premier room. The room was spacious and in spotless condition. All premier rooms are located in the... More

I've stayed here several times when it was a Marriott, and was glad to see the quality and loveliness of the property remains with its transfer to Anantara. This is not a high rise but a sprawling property with lovely grounds. The pool area is great wit plenty of chairs scattered around. I also really enjoy the dock bar area... More

this is a beautiful, well managed, tastefully decorated get-a-way spot close enough to the city should you wish to enjoy the nightlife. The hotel staff are helpful, there is a wide variety of food choices and restaurants. The pool side bbq and bar staff are very attention and the pool area itself feels like a real oasis. The front desk... More

We have previously stayed in Anantara properties - most notably the Golden Triangle and Hua Hin in Thailand and Veli in the Maldives. All three properties were amazing. We have also visited this hotel when it was owned by Marriot - only to eat - so when I'd heard it had been taken over by Anantara I was keen to... More

This is a pretty unique hotel in the middle of all the chaos that is Bangkok. This hotel is a peaceful resort that sits on the Chao Phraya River. There is a massive pool and lush grounds, an amazing lobby, but most importantly very good service. The rooms were very nice and the resort was clean and well taken care... More
