5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2007

I stayed here in Feb 2007 for a one night stopover. The hotel is modern and in an excellent location. It is 5 mins walk from a skytrain station, has a shooping centre opposite (Boots, McDonalds, Starbucks etc) and is very central in Bangkok. It's far away from the girly bar areas and very suitable for famillies. Taxi from the... More

I have just returned from my first trip to Bangkok and thanks to Travel Adviser I was able to find this great hotel. My criteria's was to find a nice & relaxing hotel which was clean, and convenient to get around local areas. Holiday Inn gets a tick in all categories- rooms are clean, showers are great and staff are... More

Very impressed with the room, service, decor and location. The hotel is renovated with a contemporary chic look with lots of glass and updated functionality. I had a king-size bed, the size of the room is very comfortable for single occupancy. One touch by the bed and every light in the room (except wardrobe and bathroom) is off. Shower is... More

Decided to stay at the Holiday Inn since I managed to find the room for GBP51 on an internet web site. The location is perfect...walking distance to some Malls and right next to the BTS for all the other attractions. The rooms were very nicely done in a modern style and the bathroom had a great shower. The pool area... More

Well situated to explore the huslte and bustle of Bangkok. Outside surroundings not the prettist but you are in a big, busy city. Staff were very helpful, relaxed atmosphere. Sky train runs directly outside the hotel. Rooms were excellent, clean with good facilities- from dressing gowns to pillow menu's. Swimming pool and surroundings are good (you could forget you were... More

This hotel was first class. It was ideally situated for the sky train shops etc. The accomodation was superb, the room was spacious the bathroom\shower facilities were brilliant everything was provided for your convenience. The pool was a welcome respite from all the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Go to the night bazaar (not Patpong) use the taxis ( they... More

Bangkok is a rather crazy place, as there's constant traffic and heaps of smog. The hotel provides a safe haven from all that mess. The hotel is flawless and it's rated as 4 star hotel. However, it's joined to the Intercontinental Hotel, a 5- star resort, so you are free to use their facilities as well. It's an idea place... More

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Holiday Inn Bangkok, which I booked after reading the ringing endorsements on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. I've stayed in over 10 different 4-5 star hotels in Thailand and this stay ranks among the top of the list and a great value as well. I booked a room on the HolidayInn website... More

After reading other postings re this hotel on this site, I decided to book a 5 day stay at the hotel and go with the flow. I was not dissappointed at all. It is such a central location and for the cost of about $85-90 USD a night, it was a bargain. This is not a typical Holiday Inn at... More
