My stay was better than I hoped for. Clean, great food, great people. Bee and Leo were very helpful and accommodating. My traveling buddy was a vegetarian and Bea made special dishes for her during the weekly feast at Tailek's. Backpackers all around BKK came by to get cooking lessons & a delicious, authentic Thai meal. Great place to meet... More

I really enjoyed this. The best choice I made while in Bangkok, and am going to make it again the next time I want to visit this fine bit of paradise. Bee is a very warm and pleasant woman to talk to, and made me feel right at home.

I really enjoyed this place, it was really clean for the price and I had no complaints with the living quarters. I personally really liked the location, the walk to the MRT was no big deal as I'm used to walking, and the motorcycle taxis are only like 20 baht if you don't want to walk it. It's right in... it's a friendly place to stay. quite a walk to MRT station (sutthisan if i not wrong) but it's OK and from there can can go anywhere. You can find some food near there, close to 7eleven you can also order a massage. not too far from CS meeting and there is a gathering every sunday night to all tourist... More

We arrived in Bangkok late and by the time we got to Tailek's House, it was way past midnight but Bee had actually been gracious enough to wait up for us, despite having her little boy to look after as well. (he was sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room where Bee waited for us to arrive) What... More

For 250 bath you have a shared room with 4 people and A/C. The bathroom is on the 3rd floor...there is WI-FI but no breakfast. The location is pretty bad because it's far away from the city center. If you arrive by the airport, please take a Taxi-Meter...we didn't know and we take a "private" taxi very expensive who couldn't... More

the stuff is friendly but not enough to visit it for a second time. The main issues is that it's too far away, even from public transport so you're depending on taxi's and they'll rip you off as a tourist. The mattresses are extremely hard by the way.

Bee, the proprietor, is lovely, very friendly and sweet, easy to get along with. She is also a great cook, and will help you learn how to make delicious pad Thai. The location is good if you want to be immersed in a Thai environment, it does take a while to get to downtown or touristy areas either by taxi... More
