Per all the other reviews of this establishment, The Siam Hotel is a standout in a city that prides itself with numerous legendary establishments that offer luxury and service. The entire experience - architecture (new, but built to create a sense of historic authenticity), garden (complete with a lap pool by the river), highly curated decor and personalized service -... We were greeted at the dock by the manager, Jason, which was appreciated Our room, the Mae Nam Suite, was large, bright and beautifully decorated. The main building is truly like a museum with artifacts perfectly positioned. All of our meals at the Chon Thai Restaurant (a la carte breakfast as well as lunch and dinner) were very good. We... This hotel is a true hidden gem in Bangkok. The location is a bit far from downtown but the river view made up for it. The room are amazing and the service is excellent. Will come back here again soon. If you like some place discrete, the siam hotel is the place for you

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful hotel last month and certainly enjoyed our stay. The one and only drawback to staying at The Siam is its location. To be fair, some might believe that the location is perfect, but I did not "get" Bangkok. Everything that we did in Bangkok was a minimum of a half hour trip.... More

Only stayed for one night but hopefully I can return in the near future. The atmosphere is fantastic. It feels like staying in a luxurious museum on a beautiful location on the river banks. Amazing artifacts of all kinds.

we spent three days here during our honeymoon and we found its an amazing little treasure. as soon as we got there (jet lagged) they assigned us a butler, the staff received us with the biggest smile and took us to our room which was just beautiful. new, beautiful deco, every single detail had been taken care of. the food... We stayed here for just one night on the way from Myanmar to Vietnam, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. After a terrible experience getting from the airport to the hotel (our driver got our hotel wrong), they immediately helped us relax with impeccable service and attention to detail. We weren't here for very long -- arrived in the evening and... More

We have stayed here on the last two nights in November 2014 and have been amazed by the quality of the hotel. The Siam operates on the level of luxury hotels we have visited over the years (Ritz Carlton, HK or Casa Angelina, Amalfi for example) which we consider a class of their own. It lives up to everything you... More

Located up river on the edge of the Rattanakosin old city area its a sublime example of next generation boutique luxury. The architecture and decor are inspired Paris' Musee d'Orsay creating a serene world, lush in natural beauty yet quite simple. The emphasis was on muted colours, black, white, cream and great, capturing the colonial architectural elements that King Rama... More

My wife and I spent seven nights at the Siam as an urban-resort vacation in Bangkok, and just loved it. The very beautiful classic deco design and comfy rooms (which are very consistent in quality) are just the start. The people (like Mac the Butler, who seemed to appear out of thin air every time we needed any arrangement made),... More
