The Siam provides distinctive and luxurious facilities in surroundings of tranquil and beauty among the chaos and fast pace of Bangkok .An urban retreat of the highest quality. You instantly feel relaxed in the exclusive and idyllic setting, and the Siam is the perfect place to unwind . I arrived by boat at their private launch and was greeted by... More

The decor and energy of this hotel is elite but not snobby. The staff is welcoming and eager to make your stay comfortable. Our suite was gorgeous, and after a 21 flight - all the wide open space was a wonderful delight. Every time we walked to our room or to breakfast we were just in awe of all the... More

Went for dinner, picked up by their private launch. A lovely experience - great menu, great food, reasonably priced. Was given a tour of what could be the nicest property ever (did not see and cannot comment on the accommodations). Gorgeous public spaces, museum quality displays, and simply visually stunning. Our server was a gracious young lady who was properly... More

The Opium Spa is nestled within the beautiful surroundings of the Siam luxury hotel labelled as an Urban Resort. It's not hard to see why after arriving from a busy day exploring the beautiful chaos of Bangkok city by the Siam's luxury speedboat that docks on their private pier a few steps from the hotel's tropically manicured landscape. There is... More

We stayed in the Pool Villa Courtyard rooms during our time in Bangkok and this hotel property is stunning! The design and architecture of the hotel grounds takes you back in time to the old french colonial quarters with delicate touches of luxury and serenity. It is truly bespoke and delivers a sense of calm in a busy bangkok. The... More

What you read in the brochures presenting this hotel is true: it has excellent public spaces -- although the swimming pool is a tad small for a hotel of such size and its breakfast buffet also rather modest; the great central hall with its palm trees rising up from an elegant dark pool is utterly impressive, the owner's collection of... The Siam is like that gorgeous arty/alternative girl that you always wanted to date in high school but felt was out of your league. She's a stunner, and off the beaten track. The property is simply beautiful. It's also well scaled, a smaller property that doesn't feel overwhelming. Some will be put off by the location. It's convenient for the... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us. As the only luxury resort to be located in the heart of Bangkok’s rarely seen palace and historic district we have the unique opportunity to share with you this unknown side of one of the worlds great cities. Our location is distinctive because you can access most points... More

The boutique hotel is a bit off the beaten path- providing an oasis from the craziness of Bangkok. Though it may take a little longer to get to some of the places you will want to visit, the hotel provides a free water taxi service which is incredibly convenient. Your butler will take care of all your needs and the... More

My husband booked The Siam to celebrate my birthday. I was very much looking forward to my stay as I had been there once before for lunch and was very impressed by the style and design of the hotel. It did not disappoint. Although I had to admit that at first we were booked in one of the special suites,... More

Staying in Dusit

Neighborhood Profile
Dusit
When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city. The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and the serenity here is in stark contrast with the chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit seems to have stood the test of time. Come here to find family businesses in traditional shophouses, small-scale local markets and streets unfazed by modern city life.
